If they had called it a tripod rather than a selfie-stick I might have given it three stars. Here's the problem: the design allows the device to be tilted at only a very shallow relative to the stick. Please see the attached photo. It shows the angle you have to hold the stick in order to achieve the necessary photo-taking alignment for your device. It means you can't hold the stick out away from yourself. Instead, you have to hold your arm down below your waist and tilt the stick sharply upward in order to point the device squarely at yourself rather than up at the sky or ceiling. I measured and, using the stick fully extended, I was able to gain only an extra 12" of distance between my face and the device owing to the length of stick lost in having to hold it at a sharp angle. If you are looking only for a tripod for use only on a table top or other flat, hard surface, this probably will work for you. However, as a selfie stick, it is essentially useless. It is going back first thing in the morning. I hate giving having to give a bad review and am only doing so now to save someone else from being disappointed.

This product has a lot of great reviews but my experience was not very great. First of all, I have an iPhone 6 Plus which is larger in size and so this selfie stick would not properly hold. Even for smaller size phones I can't imagine the stick feeling very secure. When it extends the pod tightener does not feel secure. The remote is also very flimsy. I accidentally dropped it on cement and it totally broke apart. I have never had that happen to me before where something broke so easily. Do not waste your money on this item. I would look for something a little bit more expensive that works for a bigger phone especially if you have an iPhone 6 Plus.

There are a lot of selfie sticks on the market, some costing less than $10. At $30 list ($20 on sale), this product is expensive. The build quality is not really better than most of the others, but you do get more parts, giving you more selfie options. Most other kits do not include the carrying case, mini-tripod, and GoPro mount. If you add up the cost of the all the parts and you plan to use all the parts, then this product is competitive with the cheaper ones. If you're not going to use all the parts, then you're not missing anything by buying a cheaper selfie stick.The Bluetooth shutter works fine with my Android smartphone using the default camera app (don't need to download any special apps). The mini-tripod can be used on a tabletop with the smartphone mount and with or without the selfie stick in between. You can also use some of these parts with a small point-and-shoot camera instead of a smartphone since the selfie stick and the mini-tripod do use standard tripod mounts. The selfie stick also has a built-in GoPro mount if you have one of those. Good thing the kit has a carrying bag, otherwise all these parts would get lost easily.

All I really wanted was something to hold my phone on my tripod. Everything I got extra with this was a bonus. This is not made out of the most durable materials, you get what you pay for, I thought for $20+ I couldn't go wrong. The selfie stick extends about 27", The stick mounted to the tripod would add about 3.5". The gripper accessory for the phone has a very strong spring that grabs the phone. I have a G4 and my wife has an even bigger V10 and both fit no problem. The remote works without any trouble and was very easy to pair with my phone. They also included a handy carrying bad to put everything in.

I've only had the item a couple weeks and it meets every initial expectation. The stick fits my iPhone 5c perfectly and it also fits my small Cannon PowerShot A2200 just fine. Syncing the Bluetooth remote was a snap. Turned the remote on, went to settings on the phone, then to Bluetooth, the remote was right there and connected within seconds. The reason I give it four stars is because the instructions, while not really very necessary, are written in semi-intelligible broken English. If someone, perhaps a non iOS user, needs some guidance they will be pert near screwed!

I like it. It's fun to play around with when I'm on a selfie kind of mood! I love the tripod and the blue-tooth shutter; it allows you more ways to be creature with your pictures. The tripod stand feels flimsy and cheap but it works and does it intended purpose. This makes a great gift for anyone who vblogs are share on YouTube. It was just a guilty pleasure purchase for me and I'm enjoying it.

I have a Samsung galaxy s5 with a thick otter box on it. This works great and very sturdy. I read a ton of reviews before I made my purchase. This one comes with everything you want and it comes with a convient carrying case. My only suggestion is you put the remote on a big key ring. Otherwise its small and I could see that easily being lost. VERY HAPPY AND DEFINATELY RECOMMEND IF YOUR TRAVELING
