THIS WORKS IF USED PROPERLY!
Use your brain when using products. Rodents hate the smell of peppermint oil and cinnamon oil. Which this product uses, albeit less concentrations that I'd like but the price makes up for that and you can always add more on your own. It doesn't take much, really. The sprayer is battery operated which is useful I suppose. You don't need to use a lot of this. Just wet the area evenly, only 3 inches wide really. If it rains you'll have to reapply, obviously. This is a BARRIER product. It PUSHES rodents. It doesn't repel like an electric fence. If you already have an infestation this product will likely PUSH them inside more. You need to use this BEFORE you have an infestation. I use it in the fall right when the night temperatures get 40 or below. I spray the house brick where they likely come in under the siding. This worked so well that even squirrels that would bury nuts around my house stopped going there.I also spray my garage perimeter but I start inside around the cars for a week or two, since rodents are inevitably already inside. I then PUSH them out from there, after the car perimeter I put it on the INSIDE perimeter of garage walls. Then after a week I do the OUTSIDE perimeter. This works perfectly every single year. Once it stays cold they don't go inside because they already made their home for the winter elsewhere. But I do spray every other month or so to keep them out since for some people/mice they will be attracted back in the garage once the warm cars park in there. If you park outside where mice are a worry, spray under the engine bay ground and a perimeter around the car, preferably under slightly to protect from weather washing it away faster. They're attracted to the heat so they come in the engine compartment area the most. It's simple. Peppermint oil alone works but cinnamon helps. If you have rodents used to this or larger ones like rats you'll need to increase the oils. Buy some and add it to this, even cooking extracts work. You want toothpaste in your eyes or nose? That's what this does to rodents. But it PUSHES them. So if they're inside already you need to use it inside to PUSH them out (not advised since it smells ok but it'll bother your own eyes inside). This works best if you use it BEFORE but I promise once I had mice come in my house for two years straight it stopped after I used peppermint oil and cinnamon oil products. This is a weaker and cheaper product but it does work in principle. If it isn't PUSHING for you, get a product with higher concentrations or add more oil to this yourself. And remember, if they're already inside something you have to PUSH them from the inside first. You do it from the outside you're just going to keep them inside and they'll eventually get used to it anyway.

An awesome safe alternative to poison
I had a sneaky suspicion some little critters were trying to make a home in my garage, and these pouches were the perfect, easy solution. I just tossed a few in the corners, and haven't seen any signs since. What I really appreciate is that they use essential oils, so I don't have to worry about harsh chemicals around my pets. Plus, they have a pleasant, mild scent that's not overpowering at all. If you're looking for a humane and effective way to deter rodents, look no further! These pouches are a five-star win in my book.

Really strong smell. Repels pests and people!
Right out of the bag, the smell is very intense. It made me cough and burned my eyes a little. I'm only hoping if it's that uncomfortable for me to be around, it's that much worse for the pests! If there was a way of making the aroma less pungent and pleasant to handle, I would have rated this product higher, but as it is, I would not want to use this product indoors.

Sprayer doesn’t work
I looked at various different gallon jugs of mint, based rodent repellent for a few years, always opting for different choices so when I finally bit the bullet and bought one of these big jugs it was kind of a big deal, making it all the more horrible that I can’t do anything with it because the sprayer provided doesn’t work at all. The directions are basically nonexistent had to look online. There’s like 3 different steps, twisting a knob where the sprayer connects to the jug twisting the very end of the sprayer from off to spray and moving a tab, which otherwise locks the trigger for the sprayer. From the first use, I got minimal spray that when walking around my home and spraying down around the perimeter of it and my chicken and duck coop it provided minimal coverage there’s absolutely no way I can get up to the vents/roof areas of this old mobile home. The whole point of this was having something I could grab and use not just on a regular schedule, but at any given moment. I can just grab it and go but thanks to this useless sprayer that can’t happen. I’m right back in the same routine of now having to put together some kind of better spray bottle myself Every single time I go to use this which for most people probably isn’t a big deal, but my life is being consumed by menial tasks like this. this purchase was supposed to cut that out, not create more. The smell also is not very strong. Most mint-based products have a strong scent. the whole point of that is it lasts longer, and helps repel the rodents longer.

Messy return
While spraying with the wand in one hand and carrying the gallon jug in the other, the jug slipped from my hand and fell to the ground which consequently snapped the plastic end off of the hose that was inserted into the top of the jug. So now that the wand/hose attachment is broken I can no longer use the product so I explained the situation and requested a replacement instead of a refund which was sent out to me immediately. However, in order to get the replacement without having to pay for it the replacement instructions said I must return and ship the broken product back to the seller. Unfortunately, the product leaks out from the top of the jug if on its side or inverted regardless of the black turn dial being in the "off" position. I guess I'll put some tape over the top? Wish I coulda just shown them the pics of the damage then thrown it out instead of having to go through the hassle of returning it.

It really works
I purchased this product in Nov 2024. Use it every week on so in the kitchen on the baseboards where mice use to dancing and dodge in and out constantly, now nothing. It's April 2025 and I have not seen any activity, thank God. Still can't believe it. I will continue to use this product. I've recommended it to others. I'm a very happy customer!
