Erno Laszlo Hydra-therapy Mask is like having a spa treatment at home. You have to mix in a cup the powder and liquid and it makes a mousse like consistency. Use the stick provided for stirring to apply it to your face. If you try to spread it with your fingers, it won't spread right. Applying with the plastic stick was a little awkward trying to get it to spread over my nose and different parts of my face. It feels like the mask should drip off your face, but it won't. It stays on. After 20 minutes it peels off pretty easily. There were a few spots that stayed stuck to my face that I had to wipe off. The hydration results were pretty instant. I could feel it when touching my cheeks. The next day it was the same. My skin looked good and felt good. I was very pleased with the results.

I love this set. It is a kit that you 'assemble' and use. The appicator is easy to use and works really well. nice to keep your hands clean and any mess potential controlled. I love the mixing and using. very very nice set-up. I;ll get more.

I left my face naked for almost 24 hours post using this masque and it still feels wonderful, smooth, soft and hydrated. The challenge is in using this product. The directions are not clear, and they are different on the step 2 packet and the product insert. The packet recommends stirring vigorously the mixture for 45 seconds, the insert doesn’t. The insert says to apply to a clean face, the packet directions doesn’t. There is a spatula that comes with it, it’s unclear if that is just for mixing or for application. Here’s what I did, I followed both sets of instructions and used the spatula to initially put it on and my hand to even the masque out. It also says to leave on 15 to 20 minutes. After that amount of time it’s still wet and some areas are completely dried. It would have been helpful if that instructions said what was expected and needed for best results. When you remove it, it’s very messy and didn’t come off in one piece rather in chunks. I’d also have liked the instructions to say if this is ok to go down the drain or not, will it disintegrate or clog?

This mask is great for soothing your soul and skin after a stressful day. It's totally relaxing to put one of these on while soaking in a hot bath. When you've removed it, your skin feels so soft, moisturized and replenished. I love the mask and the experience.

This is a single treatment facial mask designed to provide intense hydration to dry, dehydrated skin. This mask comes with a liquid and a powder which need to be mixed together in order to activate. The mask stays on about 15-20 minutes or until dry. Peeling off the mask was easy and it left my face feeling hydrated and refreshed.

The feeling of it on my face was very odd. After 5 minutes it started itching and hurting. After 20 minutes I took it off, and it wasn't completely dry like the instructions said it would be after 20 minutes. The mask was still very chunky and wet. It was difficult to remove just by peeling it off like the instructions said, but it became much easier once I wet a washcloth and wiped it all off. My face is very smooth and looks hydrated however, so it may have worked.

I am someone who doesn't have time to assemble a mask and then spend time waiting for it to work and then lots of time washing it off. This is a kit that requires you to assemble it and then it doesn't wash off as easily as I would like. It did soften and brighten my skin but there are simpler products on the market.

I don't know why this product is called a mask because after following the directions to the letter, I did not get a mixture that was easy to apply much less smooth out into mask. The mixture had the texture of custard. It might have been easier to have another person apply it to my face although, with the spatula provided, it is unlikely. I soldiered on and kept that lumpy mixture on my face. The recommended time is 15 minutes but I kept in on longer (30 minutes) because it wouldn't dry up. According to the package directions, it should dry up and I will be able to peel it off. I was concerned because my skin was starting to tingle but I was also afraid to wash it off in the sink because it looked like it would cause a clog so I used the same spatula and tissues to scrape it off my face. I thought using this product would be a relaxing experience but instead, it became quite frustrating. The only bright side was after I washed my face, my skin did feel somewhat smoother.
