Used in canoe trip and stitching pulled out, I am an average sized adult male and this provided no support

Canoeing

the seat area is hard and when you lean back there is not much support to lean back rest your lower back, I placed the seat in a canoe and I felt the seat should be softer and greater support on the back.

The seam at the top of the back ripped open on first use. This did not help the little back support there was. The seat had very little give. It was a little better than nothing.

The foam in the seat is VERY hard. I sent this back.

Bought this thinking it was the real deal, Sadly, it is NOT! The snap buckles are difficult to open, but might have eased with use, if the seat had lasted longer than three days, but not to be. The buckle on the hold down strap on one side tore open while tightening the strap this morning, rendering the seat useless, also the "stiffeners on the back rest are way too flimsy and are basically worthless, they wouldn't stiffen tissue paper let alone function for their intended purpose! If I could have, I would have given it ZERO stars! It is PURE GARBAGE! DO NOT waste your time and money on this!

Functional enough as a seat with back support for my canoe, HOWEVER there is zero cushion in the seat. I weigh almost 200 lbs and the seat didn't even give under all my weight. It's like sitting on a concrete block.

Have tried for 12 hours now. Back support is barely over the but cheeks. Had to reset corners after first use and Abbas some extra support. It not a bad seat pad but no back support at all.

Do not order this chair! The back rest will not even come close to supporting you in any way, the seat is as hard as a rock, and the straps will break off when you tighten them. Biggest waste of money!

No matter how tight the straps are for the back rear there is not enough back support!!!!

bought this hoping for good back support--as noted elsewhere the seat portion is very hard-like a board--it actually works better for me (in a poly kayak not canoe) upside down with the seat as a back support, sitting on the "back" with another small foam cushion..

Bought two of these for seats in my canoe. One of the straps broke upon tightening. The seats themselves quite literally offer no back support. Utterly useless complete waste of money .
