The new Hurricane Ridge Backpack is a culmination of many years of pack building by our head designer.  Named after one of the stormiest ridges in the Olympic mountain range, we set out to make a pack that could withstand the weather of the Northwest in style.  We pulled from all of the features of our existing line plus a few new ones, and we think we have made a great pack for the price and one that we guarantee will last a lifetime.  The Hurricane ridge is packed with the following features: Heavy-duty USA construction out of 1000D water-resistant textured nylon and this stuff is nearly bomb-proof, Coverlight 18oz truck-tarp lined bottom, 3 roll top enclosure to ensure the weather stays out, fully lined with 420 denier pack-cloth to add an additional layer of protection, internal padded laptop sleeve that will fit up to a 15.6" laptop, large horizontal zippered exterior pocket and internal organizer that is covered with a recycled inner tube to keep the elements out, second front vertical pocket with water resistant zipper, main vertical cinch strap with 3M reflective hits, fully padded and breathable back, fully padded and articulated shoulder straps, side compression straps to steady the load, side pockets for water bottles or other necessities, and D-loops for securing other items as needed.
