This Product Works Like a Dream
I have not used Dimex brand before and was hesitant after reading the reviews about difficulty with the pieces sliding together because nothing is more frustrating than this. I have used another brand in the past (ProFlex I think) and it is a great product but I did have difficulty with a few of the pieces sliding into place- either too tight or too loose and having to mix and match to get a snug fit. This will happen with any product if the calibration is off and I expected to run into this. I did not encounter this at all with the lot I bought. I purchased all I needed at the same time in hopes of getting the same allowances. This stuff slid together like a dream and was surprisingly easy to cut just using a chop saw with a brand new blade. This material is dense so make sure your blade is new or a diamond blade. It has decent flex and you can see from the picture that I was able to curve it and meet up with the straight portions quite well just by using extra stakes (I purchased). The stakes included are sturdy and precisely place the pieces at the angle you want them. They stay put too. I used a decomposed granite on one side and have rock on the other and the material flexes but it does not bend or contort as if damaged. It holds enough flex to provide integrity, but also enough to be malleable. This is probably more detail than anyone cares to read, but if you are going to take the time to install something like this, you want it to look good instead of spending a bunch of time time for something to look mediocre and this product delivers. And to address the subject of riveting pieces together. Some people chose that option, but it wasn't worth the hassle for me. This material is extremely strong and I broke a standard drill bit trying to drill a pilot. If you are set up for rivets, rivet away. Otherwise, a little duct tape can hold the pieces in place if needed. I needed this for only one long section.Part II: I joined the back section pictured to a covered patio, with a curved flagstone path. Sliding pieces already installed with new pieces was challenging but easier than I thought it would be. I the easiest way I found is to get the top notch in place so the new piece is hanging and slowly, slowly, slowly raise just until you feel the bottom click in and then wiggle and slide in the new piece. With patience, the finished product is so worth it.

Great garden edger that will last very long.
I bought this couple years ago (3-4yrs) and I love the ease to install it. After many years, it is still looks like new and not rusty at all the black color still perfectly intact. I need to add another edging at my garden and recently bought a used one from Amazon. I was very happy that the used condition arrived in good packaging and looks like new. Very happy with my purchase. I am a housewife and I installed this edger with hammer and using a garden shovel to dug the soil slightly deeper for the edger to fit into it. It just took me less than 5 minutes to install a piece. Highly recommend to anyone who are looking for a great flexible garden edger that will not rust and will last a very long time. In my photo, the edger that near the fence is the one that I recently bought used from Amazon and the one edger that curved is the one that I bought from Amazon couple years ago (which still looks like new, color still intact and not rusty).

Difficult to Assemble Pieces, Looks Great Installed
First of all, I am surprised at how many reviews mention that the pieces "slide together easily"!! We read many reviews and we used WD40. We spent a good hour trying to get the pieces to slide together and we had very little success. We finally got two pieces to slide together but only about 1 inch and then could not get it to go any further and could not get it apart either. Completely frustrated, we set aside the project and went to a pub to drink some beer.My husband was ready to send all of the boxes back to Amazon and try another edging. I don't give up so easily. I said we should try again in the morning when the weather was cooler, thinking the metal would contract a bit and be easier to work with. I went outside early in the morning and practically did a song and dance when I got two pieces to slide together! When I got a third to connect, I was ready to pop open a bottle of bubbly! Here are some tips:1.Try to slide pieces together when it is the coolest temp outside.2. Don't use the WD40 unless absolutely necessary as the pieces are then slippery3. We overlapped by 4 inches but I think our next installation will have less overlap because this is expensive edging!4. Use a 2 inch piece of duct tape to hold the pieces together while moving it into the place of installation. We placed the duct tape end on the bottom edge and left it on.5. Use a half moon edging tool along the dirt where you will be placing the edging.6. Place all connected pieces of edging in the ditch you created with the edging tool.7. Starting from one end, pound a small section at a time with a rubber mallet. It helps to have one person place their foot on the top of the edging with the other pounding with a mallet and then hammering the spikes in.8. Instead of cutting the edging, we just adjusted the overlaps on a couple of pieces. The photo I attached is of the assembled pieces placed in the trench we made. Two of the pieces were stuck together on top of one another in the box and no matter what we did, we could not get them apart so hopefully can get a refund for pieces we can't use.Be patient because the end result is well worth the aggravation! Looks great but it sure would be nice if the manufacturer would provide tips on HOW to slide the pieces together!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I was nervous about ordering this product as several reviews mentioned it was difficult to slide the pieces together. I ordered just one box to test it out. I had no problems sliding the pieces together at all. I liked it so much I ordered more and finished installing the 7 additional boxes I purchased, by myself, and had no issues. It is high quality and bent around the curves of the flower beds with no struggles. I only installed it an inch into the ground as basically I am using it to keep the mulch contained within my raised flower beds while edging and cutting the grass. I plan on spray painting the nail heads black.

Great product. I'll never use that plastic junk again!
So sturdy. I used it for some hard landscaping with rocks, and it really stood up to the task. It took a little effort to bend it carefully, but that is to be expected with metal. The spikes that came with it really helped keep it in place, too. A little pricy, but well worth it. It looks SO much better than that plastic bulky stuff you see in everyone else's yards. Really glad I used this instead.

Great product but missing the nails
I bought this product for a second time, however, this time the nails were missing. The box had been taped as if it had been opened. I didn't realize until the next day that the nails were not included in the box. I will say that the 2 boxes I purchased last summer had the nails. It was an easy installation and looks professional. I would like the nails in order to install my edging. How would I go about doing that? Thank you in advance

Easy to Install
Easy product to install and looks good but for the quantity you get it's very expensive.

very easy to work with
Found this product very easy to use and it shaped the walkway very well. Even after cutting and using a file was able to get the pieces to slide together, definite improvement over the other plastic products.
