Aquapel Glass Treatment & Rain Repellent

Better then rain ex and easier to use. I plan on using this from now on.

Others report great success with this product. My experience was horrible. The coating turned to something akin to thin chewing gum. The windshield wipers left heavy streaking. Nothing would remove this gunk from my windshield, and I tried normal cleaners, Windex, alcohol, and special heavy duty glass cleaners, all to no avail. Most recently, I've gone over the windshield with a clay bar paint cleaner, which did some good. One more clay bar treatment and maybe it will all be gone. Meanwhile, I think it ruined my brand-new Bosch Ikon wiper blades.Maybe I didn't put this stuff on right. So if you use it, follow the directions and don't cut corners.

No instructions came with the product. Had to go on internet for instructions. Won't buy again.

Apuapel or RainX appears to last about the same amount of time. After using both, I would get the best priced between the two.

Aquapel is a great product, but it isn't for everyone. Surface prep goes a long way in the effectiveness of aquapel. I have used this product on my personal cars for the past 6 years or so and it is downright awesome. Above 60mph and wipers aren't really even necessary. Check out the videos on YouTube of what properly applied aquapel looks like. Also I have found that hand washing and drying the glass in routine car washes goes a long way in the longevity of it. It easily lasts 9 months and I reapply at 12-14 months.It's a finicky product to get right, but once you get it right, it is well worth it.

Product did not work at all for me. I applied just as the instructions said (I had to find instructions online - the product did not come in the original package, thus it had no instruction at all) and my glass looks worse than it did before I applied. I buffed it out until it was clear, it is just super spotty after water hits it.
