i bought this to use with a flat top grill for steaming veggies, melting cheese on a burger, etc.it arrive and i immediately saw that it was fairly thick and well made. i also noticed that i was missing the handle to go with it, so i contacted the seller and notified them of the problem and asked that they send me a handle. they immediately sent me a whole new dome. i emailed the seller and got a reply within an hour or so and they had a replacement on the way within a few hours.the product is excellent and so is the seller. i highly recommend both...

So you’ve just bought a Blackstone Griddle and you’re looking through Amazon trying to figure out “do I really need a dome for steaming” and “is this one any good”. Well here you go: Yes and Yes!Nice quality item with heavier gauge stainless steel. Well made with a solid handle (which you’ll install in less than a minute). Silicone grip keeps the handle reasonably cool and the size and shape work great on a griddle.This one is a no brainer. A must have for fried eggs and cheese burgers.

At first I was going to send it back because there was a small dent in it but I needed it so I decided to keep it anyway! I am so glad that I did! It’s definitely a game changer for my asparagus on my grill! Love it! We all have a few dents in us I guess! 🙂

I haven't tried it yet, but it looks sturdy enough. It actually just looks like one of my stainless steel bowls upside down with a handle on it. It came with a dent in it, and I'm getting tired of sending things back. It came in a box without any padding at all. I pounded the dent out as best I could with my rubber mallet. I'm sick of having to get in my car and drop things off at Kohl's to return them. If you get one without a dent, it looks like a good cover.Update: If you contact the company, they are very willingly ready to work with you. I told them about the cover, and they were more than happy to replace it. I received it today and I am very happy with it and very thankful for such good customer service. I would buy from them again.

I bought this for my husband who is new to a griddle. It is well made, hefty, and perfect for the griddle. It is very easy to clean and a great value. I saw one st a local store for double the price and half as sturdy.

Love that this is made out of stainless steel versus aluminum. I could have bought an aluminum melting dome locally but every one they had in stock was made of thin aluminum and all were already dented and I had no faith they’d last. I’m so glad I waited the extra couple of days to get this stainless steel done in the mail! It’s made of thick stainless steel and the 12” diameter dives you more room to steam more food. I’m very sure this will last for a long time in my kitchen. Works great!! This is a quality piece and you won’t regret buying it!!

Bought my husband a new Blackstone griddle. He loves to cook. Thinks he is a chef lol! This cover is great for keeping food warm or melting cheese on burgers. It's large enough to cover at least 4 burgers at once. We like this item alot. Would buy again for ourselves or would be a great gift!! If you are one the fence about purchasing this, JUST DO IT. You wont be disappointed!
