Have them hooked up to my patio tv and the have a great sound.

Excellent sounding speakers with good punchy bass,n clean, crisp highs. I installed them in my truck n folks think I have a subwoofer. Good clear sound with no distortion. My amp is only 200 watts n it can get pretty loud. Price is reasonable for an outdoor waterproof speaker set.

Easy to install. I have a pioneer 100 watt receiver down the basement with a 6 cd changer. I have these hooked to that and mounted under the eves in my back yard. I love to work out back with music or just cut some trees down and build a fire and crack open a 6 pack and listen to music. These speakers handle pretty good. I listen to anything from kitty wells to slipknot and these speakers handle them fine. They sound best at a distance. say anywhere from 12 to 25 feet away. Of course there are better speakers out there, but I did not feel like spending 150.00 up for them. These sound really good for the price. If you are Extremely picky about your speakers. Go the 150.00 route. But if you like good sound and like to crank it up, you won't be disappointed with these.Update. one of the speakers fried after a couple of months. This wasn't my doing. I have these hooked up to a 100 watt pioneer system and it gets turned about 1/2 way all the time. Before I had jensen outdoor speakers with only 100 watts and they lasted 3 years on same system/ settings. Anyway Pyle does let you send them back but you have to pay for the shipping yourself and add 15.00. They basically gave me another speaker. Sounds good but I am really turned off by pyle for that. I will keep you posted if anything changes but I am removing one star b/c I had to pay 25.00 (15.00) plus 10.00 to ship. When I feel within a year they should have covered everything.

Great set of speakers.

For sound quality I would give these 4 stars, but for sound, build, and installation quality on a budget...these can't be beat. I put these on my outdoor patio cover and they have held up even in Alabama Thunderstorms.

Speakers initially worked great but started hearing some disruptions during music playing. Seller sent a replacement promptly and they've been working great thus far.

I mounted them above the deck in the backyard. We've had a couple rainy, snowy and windy days since I mounted them and so far they have held up structurally. Sound quality, BETTER than I expected at this price point. At a low level they have a great range. At mid level no distortion, range is great and do a fantastic job of drowning out my inconsiderate neighbor's dogs yapping 24/7/365. Yes you can train your dogs not to bark people. I have a Great Dane that is as quiet as a church mouse. At Hi range they can be heard a block away I'm sure and sound good. Good purchase for the money. I'd recommend them to all.

Bought these speakers since the description said they were rustproof, here is what the description states:"PROTECTED FROM ELEMENTS: The mountable speakers feature removable rustproof speaker grill which keeps it corrosion-free and sound distortion-free. It has a marine grade waterproof construction making it safe to use in places w/ heavy water splashes"Well as you can see from the pictures after 5 months of use the grills have rusted. These were installed under my deck so I could listed to music while on patio and I was very happy with them till I looked up at them the other day and saw how bad the rustproof grills have RUSTED! Plus the bracket has also started rusting so it won't be long till they fall off the house. Contacted customer service about the issue and no response after a week. I should have read the reviews closer since it seems the rust is common theme for the bad reviews.
