Extension Cable is too short in the VR Developer Bundle
The cable, why oh why? It's much shorter than expected.OK, Leap Motion has a very nice calling for VR. On the desk, it was "meh", but on your face, you can see your hands in VR. Very cool.Aside from the cable being too short, a second issue is that it appears to be very sensitive to lighting. If the lighting isn't appropriate, it doesn't track anywhere near its potential.Leap Motion has recently made very good progress with their software, if you have decent lighting, it works surprisingly well in VR. In particular, they have dramatically improved tracking to the point it almost looks fluid motion. The software needs to be linked against Leap Motions newest SDKs, so older software won't benefit without re-compile.The cable was a huge turn off for me. It's the VR developer bundle, they really need to include a longer cable for VR.

Needs Improvement
I have to say, I was severely underwhelmed. The motion tracking of the hands isn't nearly as accurate as what is portrayed in the videos I've seen, particularly when making gestures. If i make a fist, it tends to freak out and have a spastic hand on the screen because it can't figure out what position my hand is in. Some games are more playable than others. It's a very cool concept, and it sort of works, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Also, my 3 year old can't play with it at all. It doesn't detect his hand (I guess because they're too small). This product needs more improvement before I think it's ready for everyday consumers.

Good for VR
The hand recognition on this is only slightly better than Kinect. For a tool that specializes in hand recognition this should be much, much better. It has a very hard time recognizing one finger or two. Given all that it's still pretty cool when used with a VR technology. If that is what your intention is then I would go for it.

Neat toy
This is really nothing more than a neat 2 hour experience. It shows a proof of concept and how it can be applied, but it is still very rough around the edges. It's field of view is, at least what I feel, very narrow and it cannot distinguish between fingers that are on top of each other. Overall it's a cool toy and not much more.

Sort of works. Don't expect reliable hand/finger tracking. I did a demo with this on my DK2 and most people had a hard time getting it to work. Takes a few minutes of training before they figure it out. Most people want to point. Since the sensor is mounted on the eyes it can't see pointed fingers.

Not useful for desktop apps
Your mouse or touchpad is faster and 10x more precise. I just can't think of any useful or pleasant desktop use-case for this.It *might* be useful if you're planning to use it with a VR headset. I haven't tried that, so I don't know.

Exciting and amazing concept
Leap Motion feels like the future, a world in front of your face and interacting with an Oculus in a whole new way. Love, love this. Would like some more games, but will come with development.

I made a mistake
It contained the leap motion, but I didn't know it only contained a HOLDER. I thought it would contain at least a headband or something to, but I guess that was stupid of me :/
