18 months on, and it's just perfect
Excellent upgrade for the B&O H6. The cable that comes with them is a real letdown. This one is of course audio only, but it is vastly superior. It's covered in braided nylon, mainly black with a few red threads for subtle visual contrast. Connectors are very confidence - inspiring, and the source end has a spring for strain relief. The adapter for 1/4 inch jack screws on smoothly, and is a very accurate fit with well-cut threads. This cable is a little pricey, but I feel like I got what I paid for. I couldn't be more pleased. And, no, I did not receive one for free in exchange for my review, I just appreciate the quality enough to write a glowing review. If I could think of a single thing that's less than optimal, I'd tell you.UPDATE: A few months in, still fantastic with daily use. The spring strain relief is a life saver. The source-side jack may be a little large for some people, but needs to be larger to accommodate the 1/4" adapter--I use it with my phone all the time (LG V10), it's not a problem.UPDATE # 2: 18 months, still love it. I've had it for more than 500 days, and I think it's going to last another thousand. Buying a second one for another application.

A great buy---better than the stock cable.
I purchased this cable after the stock one that came with the H6's fell apart on me after 3 months of fairly heavy use. Honestly this cable is just downright better than the one B&O Includes with the H6's. It's kind of stupid that you have to outsource it like this to get a new one, but really it's worth it. The sound quality is better, and it includes native support for a full 7mm expansion screw-on which is included with the cable. It's made of a durable-seeming nylon mesh fabric, with a spring on the device input end that seems like it would weather use a lot better than the default cable did. I would recommend anyone who buys the H6's buy this cable and just toss the stock one, it's better in every way.

Works
I'm using this with the oppo pm-3, it works fine, it doesn't really sound any different than the stock cable. As another reviewer said, the cable does transmit noise easily, so this probably wouldn't be great if you exercise with it, but that's not a problem for me. It is sturdily built but does tend to get twisted easily. I give it five stars because it serves it's purpose for the price. It's sturdier than the stock cable with the oppo pm-3, which is really all I needed.

Good but not good enough
I used this cable connect to the B&O H4. The cable itself is solid made. Sound quality is improved a bit higher than the original cable. But there’s an unpleasant noise while scratching the cloth. That’s a draw back.

Superb, eerie realism...my subjective opinion
Being a fan of OFC wire cable for all of my audio/video equipment I bought this cable to use with a pair of B&O H2 headphones (yes it works with the H2's) in order to replace the stock cable with the attached in-line microphone. My impression has always been that any intermediate interference (in-line microphone) between point A (music source) and point B (speaker) will degrade the overall sound quality and information being sent to it's intended destination (my ears). As we know the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.First of all let me say when I listen to the H2's with the stock cable it does, with certain recordings, give me goosebumps on the back of my neck with it's warm open sound stage that orgasmically envelopes the grey matter between my ears. So...I bought this cable in hopes of improving upon that. When I listen to this new cable the sound is a typical OFC experience. Clear, clean, crisp and tight throughout the sound spectrum. Nice right...well not so. That warm sound sound stage with the stock cable is somewhat lacking to a degree with this cable. I do feel this is also a characteristic of OFC wire in general. Kind of like comparing CD sound quality to the more dynamic warm sound of a vinyl record. In order to wrap up my drivel regarding this matter please read part of this comparative review of the B&O H2 and H6 headphones...."By way of getting a measure of headphones quality, I always turn to Audiocheck's Ultimate Headphones Test website which offers a diverse range of tests. Recently, I have had only the high-end H6 headphones to compare the H2 with - and surprisingly in the dynamic range and binaural tests, the H2 performed slightly better." The reviewer then gives the results of his findings regarding the "binaural testing". H6 (excellent, lifelike, robust bass), the H2 (superb, eerie realism, robust bass). H6 owners, apparently for $150 less you could have gotten superb and eerie. In conclusion what I am getting at is when using this new cable the overall sound of my H2's seems to be lacking the "superb , eerie realism" that I had agreed with when reading the reviewers assessment. But...I can say I still like the cable and do recommend it. For the price of a cheap date it is worth trying for your own experience and review.

Excellent upgrade for the B&O PLAY H6 headphone
I have to add another 5 star review for this cord - it makes the B&O Play H6 headphone come alive. I had seen the review for the headphone with mention of this cable and decided to get the cord before I even tried out the headphones. It's true, they really are a big improvement over the stock cord. I would not have believed it if not for trying it and it's hard to believe that B&O could include a cord that suppresses the sound like it does. This is a must-have upgrade. The small fits perfectly in the headphone's jack and the plug for your audio device is pretty beefy, which makes it easy to handle. The cord is perfectly flexible, yet very durable as well. The cord doesn't include the controls for playback/phone, but I don't miss that at all since I use these for music and not other multimedia.
