Very nice quality for the price!
Great quality for the money. Arrived with two minor bent pieces, but easily straightened with vice grips. Simple assembly. Nice mosaic design. No cracks. Good mortar work. We put it out with the metal fire bowl upside down, so the rain will run off it until we need to build a fire. Then we'll just turn it over. Simple. See attached image. No reason to put a cover on it.

Grout around tiles was brittle and falling out, and tiles were loose and also falling off
The grout around some of the tiles was brittle and falling out into the box, which made a section of tiles loose, and they are falling off. I am now worried that it will not hold up when used. It is a heavy product, and I have no way of packaging it up and getting it back to the post office to send it back for a refund. I barely got it inside the house, so if you are single and aren't a weight lifter, you might want to take that into consideration before buying this product. I think I can repair the tiles with fresh grout; I hope so. One tile broken though. Extremely disappointed in the quality. - - Update: I repaired the grout, replaced the broken tile, and assembled it. It’s a small fire pit but looks good when you get it together. It is easy to assemble. The weather is too hot to build a fire, but I hope that now that it is repaired that it will hold up. Suggestion: Since shipping companies aren’t known for their gentleness in handling products, I would suggest enclosing at least the tile part of the pit in styrofoam or some other type of, perhaps, environmentally-safe material that would absorb the shock of shipping.
