Last one you'll ever buy
The plunger actually pushes the grease up and it's easy to prime. I've bought many of these darn things over the years and I've trashed them all as they seam to only be good for about two tubes of grease.I also bought the small 90 degree fitting attachment for this and some of those grease needles I'm glad I did.I've had this thing now for almost 5 years (late reviewer) and I have not had one problem with it.

It’s that one hand pumper
I never knew I needed a free hand while pumping grease until I bought this. Yesterday I was able to do an abstract painting while greasing my tractor.

A good grease gun, after a small repair...
I rear a lot of grease gun reviews before settling on this one. It is generally well made, and the barrel is sturdy, but as soon as I started to unscrew the top to install a grease cartridge, I knew something was wrong. The top did not unscrew easily, it required a bit of effort. Once it was off, I saw the problem, there were lots of metal shavings in the threads. I found that there was a angled dent in the top edge of the barrel, which must have happened on the assembly line before the grease gun was assembled. The dent fouled the threads as it was screwed in. I took a small file and repaired the dented thread, cleaned both parts, and it screwed together smoothly.

Sold. Works, and Excellent Customer Service!
Ordered one and it arrived, but without the rigid or flexible hose extensions. I sent a message to their customer service link on their amazon store, and received a response within 1 minute, asking for my name and address to ship me replacements immediately. 2 Days later a package arrives with a completely new grease gun with the parts missing from the first one. No big issues greasing my truck today; the gun stopped pumping grease after the 5th joint, but that is an easy fix: pull the plunger back and lock it, unscrew the cap a few turns, release the plunger, and screw the cap back tight. This purges any trapped air, the problem is not uncommon on any grease gun and easily remedied. A simple youtube search with give you multiple videos if you don't know how to operate one and fixes to common problems. No major leaking grease aside from a very small amount from one of the threaded fittings on top; barely noticeable . Tightened them all down with a wrench and nothing leaking since.

Sturdy gun, tip is trash!
I like the pistol grip and the gun itself is real nice and easy to use. That being said the grease tip is junk. I will end up replacing it with the older style. The tip that comes with it is currently stuck on my tractor with the gun hanging there in a spot that is difficult to get to. I will end up having to take the tip apart to remove it from the connection. I tried to loosen it and pry it off with a heavy screw driver with no luck. I had the same problem with it on a connection out in the open, and hade to unscrew it all the way apart. Very frustrating when you are trying to get something done! GREAT GUN, TIP JUNK!
