They work as intended. I suggest you fill ziplock bags with sand or I just put in water bottles. There is a double zipper for extra protection. They seem decently made although I am not sure how well they will hold over time. They can get very heavy when filled and don't work that well for my tripod, am afraid it will break the piece in the middle of the legs so I try to hang it. It keeps it sturdy but if there is significant vibration on a floor you might need a couple.

These sandbags were actually all black, which is fine, just thought it should be noted in case someone really wants them striped. I was happily surprised to see that there are two zippered areas to contain the sand, so if somehow sand leaked out of the first one it is protected by another enclosure. Easy to carry and works perfect for a photography backdrop.

Cheap material, the zipper broke after using it once. It was stolen from my stand at an event and I'm almost glad I don't have it, time for something better.

I purchased 6 of these. All are doing well except the one I tried small gravel in. It gave way on the bottom on the first shoot. Others filled with sand in zip-locked baggies are holding up just fine so far (1 month).

Ok so i thought that with the description stating blue and black, and the picture showing blue and black that i would get blue and black. NOPE ! just got the package today and it all black, and worse yet you cant return this item without calling customer service ! they have it listed as needing "special handling" At 7 dollars its not worth the time and effort it would take (and they know this) so i would rather spend the time i would have on the phone with customer service writing this review instead. And knowing that i cant return it i sure hope it lasts like many say it does not.

Zipper is frustrating to use if the bag is filled (which I suppose is the way you are supposed to use the bag) so that loses a star but they have such sturdy handles, and it's so well made in itself it deserves the 4 that it has. Now, thanks to this device my heavy stands aren't going to fall on someones head. Yay safety!

I was very pleasantly surprised when I received my three sandbags. They are very well made and well designed. The photos of the product dont do it justice. It has a nice handle on top, two zippers on each side to fill the bags.Of course, the real test will be after I've used them for a couple of years, knocking them around, etc. But I expect that they will do well.

Bag is put together well. Love the double zipper. I put 2 lb bags of aquarium gravel in mine so I can easily change the weight if needed. Plan on buying more.
