As a Korean living in India, I always missed Jjajang-myeon, or the famous Korean black bean sauce noodle. I had some doubts but I ordered anyway. And guess what? It is very close to the original taste. Don't believe those negative comments, as probably they don't know how to prepare properly. There are many good recipe in youtube so follow them and the taste will be good. The price could be little cheaper though.

This product is worth buying.

I saw the low ratings. Still wanted to try this out thinking it'll be different. I followed the exact steps to make jajangmyeon (did fry the paste before using). It just tastes sour and bitter.Here's the thing. This is not a regular condiment, you don't eat jajangmyeon everyday. So better buy the instant Samyang jajangmyeon noodles. Even knorr makes them.If you still wanna try then masterchow blackbean dip is okay (not authentic) but atleast appetizing.

The company is scared to market the original pungent product and has hence ended up with a half hearted muddy paste tasting like soya sauce mixed with mud.

Not the best tasting chunjang but it's not bad either. If anyone is wondering what it tastes like, it's really salty and has a fermented taste to it. Not for everyone. It's not sweet. It's not tangy but it's pungent.

Good product for the price. Its not great, but I haven't found any better. I will continue searching though

Do yourself a favour and please don't buy this.. if you really want to eat korean black bean noodles try buying the entire samyeong pack...it tastes great.. but this product is a waste of money..Smells really bad
