Son loved this product
My son wanted to get this product because he has so many playdough toys but I do not appreciate clay that dries and crumbles. This was a great product because it does not dry as easily and it is very malleable. I also liked that it was very bright in colors and the projects we created were beautiful and lasting. I would recommend this for children and parents who enjoy working together as there is extra care necessary to make sure it does not stick to floors and surfaces. If it does, no worries because it is very easy to clean up. Enjoy this product. Crayola offers quality.

Basic clay, good quality
Terrific modeling clay at a reasonable price. Easy to work with, creates sturdy figures that last and it doesn't dry out. I do recommend this clay. Used from ages 4 to 13 here.

Great stuff
Used this clay for tech research and happened to find that it excellently doubled as a sword target for sword training! Takes the blow quite nicely when the blade sinks in, firm enough so that it provides some sort of realism, and it's reusable over and over again without the ongoing cost of slicing melons!

Great modeling clay.
This was fun clay to work with and has no unpleasant odor like a no name brand I purchased from "Wallyworld". My three and a half year old got this in her stocking for Christmas. We have gotten tired of how play doh dries out so quickly, although I rejuvenate it with a little canola oil. This clay blends very well to make new colors. It molds readily especially after being warmed by rolling in the palms, but it does not bond to itself readily. I did not try concocting any sort of "slip" to use as glue, but I may try that on the next miniature coil bowl we try to make.It does not dry out or harden. I've had some leftover laying out for 5 days now, and it as well as the sculptures we made on Christmas day are still quite pliable. We made a bunch of snowmen and women with garden hats. We did need to use sections of bamboo skewers as an internal frame to support the clay.I will say that unlike play doh, this clay sticks a little bit to various surfaces, and the color does transfer a little bit to hands and fingers, but nothing permanent. No experience yet with it getting into clothing or carpet, but I promise I will update on the results if and when that happens. I plan on getting more of this clay just for when we go out of town or on vacation so our daughter has something a little more tactile to play with than her Leap Pad 2. Thanks and feel free to ask any questions.SPO

Messy , fun
My 4 and 7 year old artistes have gotten a lot of use out of this clay. The colors are nice though they do stain the hands a bit. All in all, a good deal for hours of creative play.

Great product, super price.
It is very, very hard to find modeling clay that does not air dry. I bought a package of "wax-based" modeling clay that would stay soft, but it was too oily, and smelled too perfume-y. This is great for crafts.

Great service
I bought this for my 3 year old grandson to help develop the mussels in his little hands so he will be able to hold a pencil in kindergarden. Boys, more so than girls, have trouble with fine motor skills so playing with clay and making shapes helps a lot with the development of the hand mussels. Hence better hand writing. If you have ever had a child in kindergarden you know handwriting is a big issue and an important part of their first year in school. I ordered this one day and I received it the NEXT DAY - GREAT SERVICE from this vendor.

Inexpensive, but smears
I use this for claymation / stop motion animation. The red isn't what you'd expect; more of a muted red, closer to a dull pink. The clay is awfully "smeary" - its colors will come off on your hands, and if it touches another shade it will smear its color across it. It's a very soft clay, which is likely why.Pros: It's inexpensive, and it's clay! Clay is awesome pretty much no matter what : )Cons: Used the red in my last film, and it smeared red across anything it touched, which was frustrating.

Colour smears and clay crumbles
The media could not be loaded. I bought 4 boxes. It was new and still wrapped in plastic. When i open it up, it was rock hard and as I try to knead, the colour smears and the clay doesnt mould well. Very bad quality and i could not get a refund.
