It's hard to put on, hard to attach to my hair dryer. Hard to keep it attached to the hair dryer and either takes too long to blow dry on low or burns my scalp blow drying on high.

It took a some playing with to get it right. However it’s difficult to keep attached to the hair dryer.

This bonnet attachment works great as a replacement for the old bonnet that came with my Conair bonnet hair dryer. The original bonnet was plastic, got hot, and ended up cracked in so many places that drying my hair became a 90 minute process. I simply slip the long hose of this replacement over the long hose that came permanently attached to my Conair hair dryer, cinch it close to the Conair hair dryer unit, and it works like a charm. It does not "blow" off my head, as noted in some other reviews; and it does not "get too hot", as I keep the Connair dryer on the "low" heat switch. The replacement bonnet is made better (more of a fabric than only plastic that cracks from the heat; there are more air circulation holes in in it, and my hair dries in less than 30 minutes. I do turn the bonnet's hose from the back of my head after 20 minutes so that the hose points to the front of my head (above my forehead), which cuts down on drying time. I am more than satisfied with this new attachment bonnet! It works great!

I have thick curly hair and hate waiting for it to dry and usually don’t feel like using my hair dryer, so wanted to give this a try so. It did not work at all for me. I had it on for 20 minutes, hottest setting my hair dryer has and it barley even did anything at all. My hair was ever so slightly dryer. Usually it takes 15 minutes to dry my hair fully using the regular hair dryer with a diffuser attachment. Also it was very uncomfortable to use, tight under the chin, and kept falling off the hair dryer. Would not recommend this.

I was very excited to use this dryer, thinking it would work great with my rollers/curlers I used to get a looser curl in my hair. NOPE. Doesn't fit over curlers. So, having curly hair already, I thought it would work great to gently dry my curls so they don't frizz. NOPE. The hood puffed up and completely squished my hair to my head when drying and my hair dried perfectly flat to my head. Just what I didn't want. It was also very frustating to set up for use. The chin strap is in an awkward position, and if you don't fasten it properly, the thing will FLY OFF YOUR HEAD like a cork from a champagne bottle (admittedly, I did really laugh. as it was quite funny!). Trying to tuck in your hair or wedge curlers into it, and trying to attach it to your hairdryer with the SHORT hose it has (should be much longer), was so awkward it actually became exhausting. Also, if your hairdryer doesn't have a long slim blower end, it won't fit/stay on the dryer.

The bonnet doesn't have a chin strap, as advertised. However, the drawstring was sufficient to keep it in place. My hair was about 95% dry after about 30 minutes, where drying with a handheld diffuser takes upwards of an hour. This would be a 5 star review, but I have to dock a star due to the missing chin strap.
