Love it! Better quality than I expected. I am glad I purchased this size square in the net. It is the smallest I found anywhere and keeps the leaves, pine needles and Blue Heron out of my pond. It is quite stretchy so will cover a pond slightly larger. The black cover is great because it really is not that noticeable once on. Comes with a pack of stakes that really are too small to be effective in all areas of a pond so I just anchored it down with large rocks around the edge of the pond. Actually liked that better because I will not have to worry about trying to get the net over the barbs of each stake to store it later. Think I will use rocks from now on. Survived a wind storm just fine. I am able to feed the fish without removing it. It may be bothersome in areas where plants grow in which case you would need to rig it to lay above the pond or just not cover that area. Better price than most!! Glad I bought it!

bought to cover a simple small pond. Have enough for two! easy to lay out as netting stretched where needed. pegs hold well in a variety of soil/pebbles. Low price, high quality net. Wish I had done this years ago!

i cover my pond with this net and it is the second one i bought. the stretch is great and it really keeps all the weeds and leaves on the pond. i also use it to cover the stuff in back of my tool shed and again it is a great item. I am really impressed with the stretch and how it is made. i had a raccoon fall in the pond one day and the net was not damaged. if your looking for a net for any reason, get this one

Nothing to dislike

This is an great product. As one reviewer previously stated “WHY?? did I not do this sooner?” This was exactly what I was looking for and went over the pond and secured easily. It did take two people to get it spread out and secure. I thought I would cut a lot of it off but the size was actually perfect. I have just installed and am very anxious to see the durability in long term but I can see no reason why it would not hold up. I have lost over 15 very large koi from my pond over the past 10 years and even lost the babies born in the pond. I had only one large koi left and just bought new stock-did not want to constantly have to keep replacing them. If you love your fish, this will do the job of keeping the predators out at an economical price.Update - we have found that this net over our pond has allowed our Koi to reproduce. Predators cannot get to the baby Koi and we currently have about 50 babies hatched in the pond on the last 3 months.

I purchased this net as a quick solution to reduce/eliminate leaves in my pond this fall. My pond is 12x17 feet with flag stones around those borders for another 2 or more feet on all sides. This fit just fine (with extra to spare). It seems very durable. Koi food still easily falls between holes. Stakes were much higher quality than I had expected. I figured they would break easily, NOT the case. They held up to some good pressure and I had no problems getting them into hard ground. Did not lose a single stake. Catches leaves and then they continue to blow away. Very pleased.If you are looking for a quality product in the above described scenario, it has my vote.

Used on my 800 gallon horse tank. So far, so good. I had to put it on myself, but it would have been way better to have help.When I take it off when the leaves fall, I will likely center it a little better and maybe round the edges.I used the included pegs, which went into hard dry ground easily with a hammer. On the visible sides of the pond, I secured cobblestones into the net, gathering net around each stone and closing it with wire. Zip ties would have been a more elegant solution.I ended up cutting the net in half, as my pond is only 8 feet across
