I've been suffering with GERD and major acid attacks for some time now, and they're only getting worse. I had to stop drinking coffee and any kind of cola. I found this product and it lets me enjoy my coffee again! I use two packets in a regular size cup of coffee; 3 if it's a big mug. It definitely works for me with coffee, but I haven't tried it in anything else. I decided ditching my diet cola habit was a good idea for other reasons besides my GERD! My only complaint is that it's NOT a good value for the money - but at this point I'm willing to pay it because it works.

I like this product. I had vsg surgery about 5 months ago and am now very prone to getting really bad heart burn. I still like to enjoy a good cup of coffee though and usually have to use dark roast and acid reduced coffee, which cost about 3 times as much as regular coffee. Also, I just don't love many of the dark roasts, which are lower in acid for some reason. This don't add any weird taste even when it does appear that the crystals don't totally dissolve. It does help to add the crystals to the mug before filling it with coffee. I have found that one little itty bitty packet is not sufficient. I use two or three. That usually does the trick. I think that I might try this product in another form of packaging so I don't have to open all these tiny packets. Perhaps there is larger size packet or a shaker or something. I shared this with a coworker and she said it did nothing to her at all. I guess we are not all the same. I'd say this is worth a try. I read that it can be used to neutralize acids in other foods, but I have not tried that yet. Anything with tomatoes torture for me, but I usually just avoid them. I do love tomato though and might give this a shot. I don't know, for some reason sprinkling white crystals on home made tomoto sauce and similar delights just feels wrong. I recommend this product, just know that you may have to play with the "serving size"..o.k. signing off now to go make myself a cup of morning coffee...

The item was great.. it means I can have coffee again, without worrying about acid reflux. My problem now is that I can't seem to order it on Amazon anymore - it says item can't be shipped to the UK! Can anyone help me on this?? Many thanks.

These granules do not dissolve in coffee or tea. Perhaps the company should place a better description and disclaimer. I thought it was a larger version of individual packets but it is much more coarse. I even ground it down with pestle and it still won’t dissolve.

Does what is supposed to do! Lower acidity.

The product reduces the acidity of brewed coffee and allows people to drink it without discomfort.
