I bought these about 3 years ago. They work really well. They will only fit on certain bottles, fizzy drink bottles, 2litre are generally fine. I cut the bottom off the bottle and fill the bottle with water and invert the bottle in the soil. You may need to drill extra holes in the spike and clear out the spike annually. Great to know exactly how much water you’re giving to plants, especially potted outdoor ones, flowers or vegetables.

Don’t bother buying these they don’t fit any uk bottles that I’ve tried. Only one star because I had to to post this review.

Concept is good but almost impossible to put holes in the nozzle with the map pins provided in the pack.

The enclosed pins work well if you don't try making a hole at the point, but use them to lightly hammer two holes about 2cm apart in one of the grooves as in photo, to stop a vacuum developing in the bottle.

A couple of these spikes aren't very watertight at the screw cap, which was no surprise seeing as there is no seal. Lucky I have PTFE tape and o-rings handy, but shouldn't really have to go down that road.Also, some of the holes were significantly more difficult to poke through with the corkboard pins than others were, particularly at the cap-end of the spikes. That could be dangerous for some people.Note to manufacturer: the included pokey pins were nice, but maybe start including rubber seals too.

I made two holes, I put the half-liter bottle of Coca-Cola in the evening, and the next morning I had a surprise, the whole bottle was empty. Disappointed .

When using, I discoverd one of the items had a non-existent thread so wouldn't screw on the bottle making it useless. As I needed the items uregently to water plants whilst I'm away, I didn't have time to exchange. I would rather had the option to exchange the one item.

These are so good for watering my flowers in pots

a completely useless product. even making the smallest possible hole half a bottle is consumed in 1 day and the other half is not able to be depleted since it lacks gravity weight. Don't waste time or money in this, is worthless.

Einfach Plastikflasche anschrauben, dann haben die Pflanzen eine ganze Weile das nötige Wasser.Super einfach zu handhaben passt prima.

Moi je l'utilise pour plusieurs plantes, pour la pointe de la photo, 1l il prends à peux près 3/4 jours à se vider à peu près.Je l'utilise pour me débarrasser des mouches de terreau, mais pour les vacances je pense que ça marcharais bien aussi.Les pointes n'ont pas des trous et c'est à nous de les faire (c'est la partie 'tricky') de un côte c'est bien car chacun peux faire le/s trous à la taille qu'il estime.=> Tip pour faire de tout petits trous:* Utilisez plutôt une épingle fine (NO celle qui vient avec le paquet), vous chauffez l'épingle avec un briquet (attention à prend l'épingle avec de pinces pour éviter vous bruler), une fois la pointe de l'épingle au rouge vive l'aprochez vers le plastique, pas besoin d'arriver à le traverser entièrement, je le fait à moitié, et après le reste quand l'épingle est froid a petit coup de marteau pour faire le trou le plus petit possible. (Plus facile de le faire que de l'expliquer vu que ne suis pas français en plus)* Autre tip, peut être je aurez besoin d'ajouter un peu de ruban isolant dans la couche de la bouche pour qu'elle soit plus hermétique* Les bouteilles de sodas sont parfait pour ces pointe d'arrosage
