Great product
These type of filters are hard to find, and I was happy that Kantek makes them. They are quite thin, but they look very sleek and fits perfectly for my screens (I bought two). I like how they hand right on top of the monitor without the need to install anything. They work well and have helped alleviate the glare from my screens, but they are not as heavy duty as some 3M filters I've had in the past. However, 3M does not make a filter for this size monitor, and I found that Kantek is the best alternative. Price-wise, it's a little steep, but in the long-run, if it truly serves its purpose and protects your eyes, then it's absolutely worth it.

Pretty Good Filter
I had never seen an anti-glare filter before and didn't quite know what to expect. This isn't a film that you stick to your screen and it's not something flimsy that will curl up around the edges. It feels and looks like thin plexiglas (I have no idea what it's really made of) and it fixes to your monitor by two hooks or "mini-arms" that go over the top of the monitor. So, in no way does this compromise the integrity of the monitor like with screws. You can put it on and take it off in literally a second and it won't damage the monitor in any way. The filter itself is a little tinted so it will make your monitor appear to be darker. Also, (bear with me, I'm sure there's word for this but I do not know what it is)....it's sort of reflective. If your monitor is turned off or is blank/black and you're sitting directly in front of the monitor, you'll faintly see your reflection. Just like if you have a shiny black oven door (in your kitchen) and you stand right in front of it, you can see yourself. See what I'm trying to describe? If what I'm doing on the computer has a white background, like typing in Word, I don't notice my reflection so much but if I'm streaming a movie and the movie is dark or has a nighttime scene, then I can see myself and it's annoying.I sit at the computer 9 hours plus a day and I've developed CVS which is computer vision syndrome. I won't go all into that syndrome but in a nutshell, looking at the monitor so much makes my eyes hurt and the glare is just too much to bear! I also sit in an egg-shell colored cubicle under florescent lighting without a window. The lights are harsh enough but then the light bounces off the walls creating more vision problems in relation to the monitor. (Anyone want to switch jobs with me?) When I opened the box and looked at the filter, I really wasn't too impressed. Honestly, I didn't know if I wanted to keep it. But, I thought I'd try it out a couple of days before sending it back. At first, I couldn't tell a whole lot of difference between my monitor with and without the filter. The only apparent difference was the little bit of tinting on the filter. About 4:00, after staring at the monitor for 8 hours, I lifted the filter and looked at the bare monitor and HOLY COW could I tell a difference. See my eyes had gotten tired and that's when my vision problems are at their worst. That afternoon I fell in love with my new Kantek filter and never wish to go without it! I still have vision problems but this filter is making life much more bearable!Someone reviewed this product on Amazon but it was a different size than this one and he/she mentioned that this is a good product to protect delicate LCD monitors from users that like to touch the screen. If this is something you're interested in, I have to concur with that reviewer. I do not touch my screen, but if you do and wish to protect the screen, this would be a good option since this is made out of something hard. Also, it comes with a little felt-like buffing cloth to wipe away smears/finger prints.I'm giving this product four stars. If it had less reflection I'd probably give it five stars but that one pet peeve of mine still isn't enough to keep me from loving this filter.

Good, but not great.
Beautifully made, very lightweight, has been a help in reducing glare which is the primary reason I bought it. Somewhat disappointed though that it's not a little darker to reduce the glare even more.

Finally - No Tired - Red Eyes !!
I am recovering from retinal detachment surgery (6 months ago) and my job requires me to be on the computer all day long, plus I am on the computer all night as well, doing my hobbies or other techie things, because that's what I love to do. Recently my recovering eye had been getting very irritated and red to the point where I had to step away at frequent intervals. Eye drops didn't help nor did reading glasses. I finally thought to try a computer anti-glare screen. I was desperate. Not all reviews were favorable on many models, but I truly needed something, otherwise I was afraid I was damaging my eye and stalling the healing process. Well I decided not to go cheap (or too expensive) and tried this Anti-Glare Filter. To be honest, I wasn't expecting a miracle or even great results, but I got both!! The minute I put it on my monitor, my eye seemed to relax and really enjoy its new vision. I am thrilled to have found this filter and would highly recommend to anyone who sits in front of a computer screen all day and gets tired, red, irritated eyes. This is a life-saver. Really !! By cutting the glare, it also made the text a little sharper. ..... and that was a huge deal for me as well.

Anti-Anti-Glare
This is about the most anti-glare thing you could get. It doesn't work at all. It actually enhanced the glare on my monitor to where it's unusable.

Too much reflection
I have windows behind me and there's a glare on my current lenovo monitor. However, on my current monitor I can't see the windows or anything else behind me - there's no reflection. I put the Kantek anti-glare screen on my monitor and it became a mirror. My monitor was harder to read, it was harder on my eyes and I could see everything behind me like I was looking into a mirror. My monitor has a much more "matte" surface than the reflective surface of teh LCD protect delux.

Excellent! I have a glossy screen on a 20 inch HP TouchSmart that makes my eyes burn. I've struggled with this problem to the point of considering throwing out the computer. (Will never buy a glossy screen again). But I just got this filter and it is wonderful. Removes the glare but keeps the colors and sharpness. It's also light, not heavy or bulky, so that it takes nothing away from the look of my computer. Very pleased!

100% Recomendado
Pensé que era cristal pero es una mica, pero aun así funciono perfectamente. No se si sirva para una computadora ya que yo la utilice para una televisión.

Amazing product but slightly expensive
I have been using this product for last 6 months. It gives a great relief from eye strain. I am not sure whether it has blue-cut feature, but it is very soothing to eyes even after 10 hrs of computer usage per day. It is bit expensive for the features it offers, still I would highly recommend this product.

Great purchase
My eyes have been very dry and sandy and get tired easily. This filter helps significantly. I got one for my co-worker as well. She bought a privacy filter but was not helping with her eyes as she expected. This one does help.

Didn't need a privacy filter...
This filter was just to handle the glare off a monitor and it seems to do that well, just wish it wasn't quite so costly.
