BrightLines Roof Rack Crossbars Compatible with 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025 Volkswagen Atlas

I shopped for several days before buying these on sale for $89 and have zero regrets. These aluminum bars mount very solid on my 2024 Atlas R-Line, look good, and are well built. The instructions are good and easy to understand and assembly/mounting takes about 30 minutes (and I was taking my time). High quality that looks, fits, and performs well. I've heard no wind noise so far. Buy these and save hundreds of dollars compared to the VW version.

I had put this on my Honda pilot 2017. Main purpose is to transport my Hobe PA 14 fishing kayak. It works great it's able to sustain the weight which is around 115 pounds. Overall, so far so good for the price I would recommend it, easy to put on

These were easy to install (hex-key) and it held everything in place (up to 85 mph)This was pretty low to my vehicle (which is what i was looking for) but it gave enough clearance to install the carrier (Yakima skybox)

A great set of crossbars that are very close to the $500 OEM version. Best of all they do not whistle when I drive; airfoil design helps keep them quiet. While I haven't added any attachments to the racks, I believe they should accomodate any type of storage box or bike rack. Perfect for my needs.

We installed these on our 2024 VW Atlas and they fit perfectly. We had the smaller versions on our 2019 VW Tiguan for four years. Never any issues, held our kayak racks as needed, and zero wind noise out of these. Good quality and great price.

I bought this for my 2019 Atlas a little over 5 months ago to replace the factory ones which were tall and boxy. I really wanted to get a name brand set but needed them within a week and this set was one of the few that could be delivered prior to the road trip. Figured for what these cost, I could trash them when we got back if they were junk. I definitely made a good choice on this set! I installed these early October 2021 and haven't taken them off since. They look better than factory and are holding up great. I would recommend these to anyone that has a Volkswagen Atlas. THESE ARE NOT MADE FOR ATLAS CROSS SPORT. The Cross Sport has a different roofline so these will not fit properly.Pros:- Easy installation if you measure the distance according to the manufacturer's instructions for the car.- I have an XL Carrier and we loaded it to the max and had zero issues. I definitely like the lower profile of these cross racks versus the factory Volkswagen ones I had.- Minimal noise at 18 or 80 MPH. No whistling or anything else for the most part- exception being ice buildup. Didn't really see a decline in MPG with these on.- They actually look pretty decent and held up to an entire NY winter (road salt, ice, etc.)Cons:- The only time I have experienced any noise from these inside the car is when there is a lot of ice on the roof. Simple fix was to just go to the car wash and spray the roof off really quick and problem solved.

I loved the price point.Easy to installDoes the job although not sure on how well it long it will last. Seems to be mostly plastic parts.

Can't be beat for the price! Gave it 4 stars for sturdiness because flat washers (5 cents) should be provided for the screws that go into the slots and not because they are not strong enough for the rated capacity. Mounting was extremely easy (didn't even read the instructions). I assembled the bars with the slot screws snug. I found the positions I wanted by push/pull the adjustable clamp and then tightened the 4 slot screws. The clamps were easy too. Just slide them under, align them, clamp with your hand and the screw threaded hole will fall under the upper clamp screw hole. 60 minutes from opening the box to finish.
