Buyer Beware
I purchased a few patterns and styles of these and I'm returning them all except the one I had washed and my baby wore. I'm waiting for a response from iplay about that one. I tried these because I had purchased an iplay rash guard. Because of all of the poor reviews about sizing I went into a store to buy my first one because my 22 month old is petite. At 20 pounds I decided on a medium. The back of the diaper just covered her tiny tush. The front was huge, she looked like she had it on backwards. The legs were tight and she is a tooth pick, so I have no idea how these fit chubby babies.I washed and dried one of the diapers in her regular detergent a week prior to use. We put it on and went outside to splash in her baby pool. A little over an hour later, we came inside for a bath. She had lines, as to be expected, where the leg elastic sat. But about 3/4 of an inch outside of that she had awful burns. It looks like the outside of the diaper just rubbed her raw. It's like a burn on her poor skin. Please do not buy these diapers, it's not worth the risk.

It did fit better, but thought it was a little tight
This is the second one I've purchased on Amazon, using the size chart. My child is 22 lbs, but a small/thin 22 lbs, so according to the size chart she could wear a medium, however the leg openings were just too tight, and I could realize this i,,immediately, so I sent back and got the large for up to 25lbs. It did fit better, but thought it was a little tight, however, it should be somewhat tight in order to keep in solids while swimming. I let my baby wear this for 1.5 hours in a pool and she was chaffed and blistered so badly! I'm upset, because the size chart is not accurate-even going up to the next size range! I feel so bad, because she is very uncomfortable with the rash. I can't imagine how bad this could've been if we had been at the beach with sand and salt water to further agitate the skin. The pattern is super cute, but iPlay needs to figure their sizing out! I can't imagine this doesn't happen to lots of kids, because like I stated earlier, my child has very skinny thighs, so it's not like she has chubby legs like plenty babies her age.

Very form fitting
I bought this diaper because I frankly didn't see many other reusable swim diapers around. With that being said, the patterns to choose from are very cute with the ruffles, the material is very easy to clean ( even with blowouts ). Although, if you don't wash it out and throw in the laundry right after use it does keep a pee smell, which is pretty gross. So if you want to use it everyday that could get annoying, we only swim once or twice a week in the summer. It is also SO tight on the thighs. My daughter is actually fairly lean and very tall and she is only 1 1/2. I bought her the 3T by the way. The waist fit pretty good, it never slipped down or let anything spill out, but it would leave red marks around her thighs if she played in it for more than twenty minutes. The button clasp on the side is pretty handy as well. Overall, I would say definitely go up one or two sizes, and if this is something you don't use all the time or for very long, I would say go ahead and buy as it beats spending $10 a package on the throw away swim diapers.

Cute and well-made, but runs very small and is difficult to get on and off
This swim diaper is adorable and well made, but it's way too small, it's hard to get on, and it' very hard to get off. After reading many Amazon reviews that said it runs small, I ordered a size up, but it's still too small. My 11-month-old weighs 23 lbs, and I had already tried the Large i play swim diaper (supposed to fit 22-25 lbs), so I ordered an X-Large (supposed to fit 25-30 lbs). It was still too small -- I had to struggle to get it on, and getting it off while wet was really hard. Our baby does have thunder thighs, so perhaps it would be fine for a slimmer baby. But if you have a chunky baby, you might need 2 sizes larger than the tag would lead you to believe.I've tried a couple of different swim diapers, and I have found that the ones with snaps on both sides are the easiest to get on, and especially easy to get off while wet. This i play diaper has snaps on one side, which is helpful but not enough. So I'm going to order more Mother-Ease Swim Diapers instead of trying a larger i play one.

Good buy
These are great. Obviously much more cost (and earth) effective than disposables. And unlike most other swim diapers they actually have a very absorbent layer inside the water-resistant exterior, so if she pees on the walk to the pool or beach I'm not soaked. Obviously after she's been in the water they are just overall wet. And it definitely keeps in the solids. The snaps on the (one) side mean they are a little easier to put on and take off when wet (or filled). The only downside for us being on vacation is that it doesn't dry very quickly, so if we want to use it several times a day she has to sometimes wear it still damp. We ended up ordering a second pair to solve the issue. She is 12 months and about average size and the 12-18 fit great.

No leaks!
This diaper has been great! My 6 month old has put this to the test a few times on our vacation and we have had no problems with leaking whatsoever. I have to be honest, I'm shocked at how well this diaper worked, especially bc breastmilk poo can be quite messy. I own a few different brands of reusable swim diapers but chose iPlay based on the pattern selection (which, by the way, is brighter and cuter than shown online). One advantage to this style is the snaps on the side make it easy to remove, especially when dealing with a messy diaper. That is certainly a big advantage over the others more "speedo" style I have used with my other kids. I would buy this brand again without a doubt, it has worked out better than I expected.

Used a couple of times for baby's swimming lessons over ...
Used a couple of times for baby's swimming lessons over the top of ordinary swimming nappy. Works as it should. Only problem I find is because of my baby having chunky thighs the leg holes are very tight around her and may have to get a bigger size earlier than I wanted. She's 10weeks and I ordered 3-6month in the nappy

Five Stars
Great swim nappy, well padded so held in the poo, easily washed for the next day. Would recommend
