Keeps live bait alive for hours in a 5 gallon bucket. I own 4 of these and use them all the time. I have one thast is 15 years old and has been to the beach and back many times. Still works!!

The picture shows the unit with airline and aeriation stone at the end whereas it is supplied without it. You then have to try and buy a piece of airline and an aeriation stone separately which will cost you more than the pump. My advice is don't buy this product and get one that specifies all the items you need are included even if its a more money as at least you will have a working product you can use as soon as it arrives and it will cost you less money and time.

Seems to work well. I have only used it once so far for large Australian salmon, it did keep them alive for awhile, but eventually having they did not have enough oxygen. Would work well for smaller fish

Worked well and for a long time just using one battery - approx 24 hrs. Kept minnows alive.

Pros Works very well as intended. Inexpensive. Long battery life. Standard sizes so replacement parts are standard fish tank gear. This will provide enough O2 to keep 2 dozen herring alive in a cooler indefinitely. Cons Case in embarassingly cheap and NOT waterproof in any way. Air hose is a little short to use with cooler. Who uses D batteries any more ? With 4AAs, this unit could be half the size it is.
