I'm pleased to find these types of bases available w/o having to buy the Moon Lamp that goes with them.I liked the ease of putting it together. Screwing the top to the bottom took seconds. This top and bottom aligned quite well. It seems pretty sturdy to hold my 3.5 pound (8.9 cm / 3.5 inch diameter) Shattuckite sphere. This metal base is very lightweight and a bit rough around the edges...especially the bottom section. Be careful not to slide it on the table or entertainment centers as it will definitely scratch the surface.It also came with a few blemishes and nicks on the base itself, but it isn't noticeable from far away. Would've given it a 5 star rating if it wasn't nicked up. For the price, it was costly for what you get, but finding bases for my sphere collection other than the typical wood bases can be hard to track down. So, I guess it will have to do. Glad to have a metal base this time around.

Ordered black for a sea shell. Works pretty well. It was slightly smaller than I thought it would be, but size is still sufficient for what I'm needing.Liked it so much I ordered a second one (white) for an amber crystal ball. I knew what size it would be and what to expect. Works perfectly. Included pic.

This is a perfect stand for my daughter's magic glass ball! It's sturdy and has a nice, heavy quality feel to it. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking for a nice stand for round objects.

I love this moon stand. It looks so much nicer than the wooden stand that the moon came with.

Attractive & substantial stand for the moon nightlight. I'm very pleased it doesn't visually detract from the lamp.

Arrived broken

Both the top and bottom prongs are uneven making it impossible to display anything a without the base wobbling. Unusable...

Too small to hold anything other than a ping pong ball. Sent it back.
