Great Pricing Gun for the Money
My review will mostly explain how I came to decide on this gun. If you are like me and knew nothing about pricing guns then hopefully you will find my comments helpful in your decision making process.I used a friends pricing gun at a flea market years ago. Although the idea of using the gun was great, It was a pain to center and to get it to print right. I knew I didn't want this so that eliminated all the very cheap price guns under $20. Although if this is for a one time use it may be sufficient for you.I needed this to price several thousand items to start, then occasionally for upkeep of occasional garage sales and a small once every few months flea market. My first decision was to decide if I needed a one line gun or a two line gun. I thought two lines would be fun, but decided one line was sufficient for my needs. Actually the deciding factor for me on this was when I realized the label for the single line pricing gun is smaller and figured that would fit my smaller items better. From Amazon reviews I determined the best brands to be Garvey or Monarch. The final decision was price. Garvey was about $25 cheaper and I really didn't need anything fancy at this time so I selected the Garvey. The only Garvey I found with Amazon free shipping (I wanted the item quickly) and for cost savings included labels was the 21-7. So I decided on this pricing gun.Fast forward to today when over the past several days I have ran two and a half rolls of labels through the gun and I am quite content with my choice. Its not supreme quality, but again for the price I have to give it 5 stars. The only quirkiness of the gun was things that happened when I first started using it. All operator error that simply just meant I needed to get used to the gun. It came preloaded with a roll of labels in addition to the 4 extra rolls and was able to open the package and immediately start using it.The first time you need to change the label roll you probably want it to be at a time and place when you are not in a hurry. I'm not a mechanically minded person, but I was able to open up the gun and reload with only a few minor mishaps and head scratching. When I finally figured it out, I was like man that is too easy. I wasn't getting it at first because I was trying to make it too difficult. Same thing happened when I went to change it the 2nd time. I tried to make something much more difficult then it was and that is why I had problems reloading the gun.Today I needed to order new labels. I didn't even know what labels fit the gun so I had to call up Garvey Products and they told me this gun is the Impressa Line and fits 2117 labels. As opposed to the Garvey 22-6 that uses a more common label. If I had it to do over again I probably would have gone with the garvey 22-6. Although one less line, labels are more plentiful and easier to come by on line. In addition you can order the labels with new ink. I have not yet discovered where I can get the ink for this model. Now if money isn't an issue I would go with the Monarch. Labels are cheap and plentiful for these guns as well as ink. You can purchase all these supplies (for a higher price) in a pinch if need be at most local office supply stores making it a more universal choice. Although I haven't used the Monarch, I don't think all the reviews can be wrong. If price is a factor and you are looking for a simple gun that comes conveniently packed with a few included labels then I Don't think you can go wrong with this gun.

Just ok
Works great. However it is a real pain to load labels in. In fact if you run it completely out of labels you will have a real challenge reloading it. The instructions are not very clear either. The instructions apparently have been translated from another language to english. The saying "it lost something in the translation" applies here. The Ink roller is easy to replace although it seems to last forever.

I'm putting stickers on everything
I got this thing and just started tagging everything and anything that came too close. kids, tag, dog, tag, my buddy, tag. I bought it for my yard sales because frankly I thought it would make people realize I am serious about my prices and I have to say professional price tags seemed to have a huge improvement on the crazy things yard sale pickers would try to talk me down to. loaded easily enough. little tinkering ai figured it out just fine without any directions. I haven't had to re-load it yet. Despite my excessive tagging, there are still lots of stickers on the role. One guy at my yard sale even tried to buy it. I like it, MINE!

Garvey price gun is a joke
Very unhappy with this product .... Would not recommend this brand or model to anyone .After first pricing tape runs out it impossible to load. Tape does not stay in place and once finally loaded does not print in center of label. Labels constantly fly off . Cheaply made and highly priced. I consider this product a total waste of time , effort and expense.

The gun works great until you need to put a new roll in
The gun works great until you need to put a new roll in. I had not used one before and the instructions were worthless. After finally watching a U-Tube I was able to do it. It is simple if you know how. Then the orange roll would not work. put in the white and it worked fine. Gun is great if you know how to work on one.
