I've kinda struggled to reel in the bigger trouts and reds on my Shimano Spheros 4000 and holy cow this knob made a difference! The stock knob is flat and thin, and with my big hands I could basically just pinch it between my thumb and index finger which led to a bit of a problem when I had 20+ inch fish on the line. This thing took my reel to a whole new level!It's a very easy install. On my Spheros, all I did was unscrew the two screws on the stock knob's nameplate, then unscrew the main screw to the shaft. Then I just slid the two bearings on either side of the Gomexus knob and used 3 of the thinner spacing washers. Some locktite is definitely required for the shaft screw, as you cannot torque it down because it will tighten down onto the bearings and prevent the knob from spinning free. But man is it an improvement over the bushings on the previous handle. I can now get a whole hand grip on this thing and crank those big fish in.As far as color and quality, it's solid. The gold.color is a lot more of a deep yellow gold than the gold on the Spheros reel. I might have gotten just a black model if I knew the difference, but I don't really care how my equipment looks as long as it's working. At a glance, it looks stock, but up close it's definitely a different color. The build is pretty sturdy. I went from a plastic handle to a milled aluminum piece, so it's already a drastic upgrade. And the quality is surprisingly good at this price point. Everything is smooth, the paint and finish is sharp, and it's really just more than I expected.Overall, it's a heck of a deal for under 20 bucks (at the time of writing). The 38mm model DOES fit the Shimano spheros sw 4000 even though it's not listed. I'll be upgrading all of my reels with this handle/knob.

I recently picked up the GOMEXIS Power Knob, and I’m impressed right out of the gate. It fits my Shimano Stradic 3000 perfectly—no hassle, no extra adjustments. The installation was quick and straightforward, and it immediately gave my reel a more solid, premium feel.I’m still in the testing phase, but so far, it seems absolutely wonderful. Very easy to install. I put it on my Shimano stradic 2500. The stradic came with a small flat handle. This has a good feel for my larger hand, and spins forever. Comes with instructions that are easy to read , and has good pictures. All I needed was a smaller Phillips screw driver. Save your Shimano handle screw as you will need it for installation of this knob. Would not hesitate to buy another. 👍

Knob size is excellent for my hand size which is medium average men’s hand size. Knob is light weight eva foam not a hard rubber. 2 ball bearings, a thick bushing and washers are include. After mounting it the ball bearing make it spin freely, very smooth. I did not think it would spin freely while assembling it. After use in the surf the inner bearing closet to the handle shaft allows sand to get into the spindle and creates a grinding that resonates so significantly it makes it hard to feel a swim bait action or fish strike. After awhile the sand particle works itself out but if it gets another splash from the wave wash it easily gets bumpy again. Otherwise it’s a nice ball knob with some sand limitations. I tried a thick grease at the end bushing to help seal it from water/sand intrusion but that lasts only a short time since the knob movement pushes out the grease.

I have several Gomexus handle knobs and they are great. Extremely comfortable and well worth the price. Very easy to install as well. They make your reels look more duty and have had so many compliments on my Stratic. If you are looking to buy one you will be happy you did.

I bought this power knob after watching a few install videos on YouTube to see if it worked with my Okuma Inspira 3000 and 4000 size. I got the knob that fits the Shimano and Daiwa spinning reels. For the 4000 size I went with 38 mm and for the 3000 size I went with 35 mm. Looks and works great ! You have to take a little time to do the fitting which, gomexus gives you a kit with your knob with different screws washers Etc. So you can get a good fit !
