Solo New York 17.3-Inch Laptop Smart Strap Briefcase, Black, EXE300-4

Quality bag. A little larger than expected. Not enough small pockets--lots of things get lost in the main compartment and the front zipper section. I put my laptop in the rear thin compartment to make it easy to get to, but then there is no place to put loose papers without getting mangled. Retractable strap truly works great--best part about this bag, but there needs to be more padding on the sliding piece that goes on your shoulder -- still feels like a bag on a seatbelt over my shoulder. Why can't anyone make a bag with the basic design I had before -- easy access section for laptop, front small zipper pocket for power supply, and even smaller front zipper pocket for business cards and USB sticks? With this bag and most others I investigated, you have to put the power supply and small stuff inside one of the big compartments where it gets easily lost/buried.

Did not fit my husband's computer like it said it would.

Laptop storage area only 15inX11.5in. Will not fit my Dell with 17.3in screen. I like the strap, I just wish it would fit the laptop size they said it would since it is supposed to be a laptop case.

Very happy with this briefcase, I bought it because I love the retracting shoulder strap. Highly recommended, don't worry about the people whining that the "original version" was so much better than this one. The new version is well-crafted and I am quite pleased with it.

Mainly I was disappointed because it said my laptop would fit but it didn't. I would have liked it if I didn't have such a huge laptop for work.

I found this to be the perfect laptop bag, professional and functional. The retractable strap works perfect and made a few people ask where did you get that as they were fumbling with their straps.

Perfect for what I wanted to use it for. The retractable strap works great. I love it; no more hooking it on a chair when I walk away.

I Waited 5 Months For Solo.net To Get This Bag In Stock Just To Find Out It Didn't Fit My Dell 17 L1702x 17.3" Screen Plus I've Had The Same Bag For 2 Years Only It Was For A 16" Screen And The Bag Was The Same Size. My Dell XPS Studio 16 " Screen Wouldn't Fit In It Either.
