I ordered this cable to replace a dying Cat-5e 100 ft. cable. Installation was unremarkable (it's an ethernet cable, after all -- plug it in on both ends and you're done, and it either works or it doesn't) and trouble-free. With the old cable, the host and switch rarely negotiated a full gigabit link; with this one, we've reliably observed gigabit links during every test.The cable's exterior sheath is soft and matte, not shiny and rigid like most ethernet cables I've come across over the years. It was easier to grip and handle as we ran the cable from the switch, through the house and over to the target PC; the protective cover on each end prevents bending and breaking off the connector's locking tab without interfering with its operation when needed.Pros:- Works as advertised (signalling was tested briefly at 10 gigabit with no issues observed; normal operation for this cable for us has been at gigabit, again with no issues)- Soft, non-slick matte exterior sheath protects the cable and ensures easy roll-up for storage without knots and tangles- Cheaper than Monoprice (as of this writing; your milage may vary)Cons:- None so far

Cables work great. Tested them out of the box on a network tester and they all tested perfect. I am using these for POE security cameras and they work great. Love being able to get pre made cat cables at a great price. Thanks

I tried a Cat 6 cable from a local big-box retailer but returned it as it was just too flimsy like a phone charger wire or comparable. But this particular Cat 6 cable in comparison is very rugged with a heavy duty outer wrapping of flexible skin that has a twisting kind of appearance. I needed a cable such as this for running through my attic and meant for years of exposure. And the quality of the signal it carries is noticeably inproved over the one I tried from the Retailer for 5 times the cost. Get it while its cheap!

Its a good Ethernet cable, everthing is working fine but u have to be carefull when u do the connection. The cable will get damaged quickly. Any litlle scratching will cut off the cable!But with me everything is working okay and the speed is perfect :)

I purchased this to run a wired line from my home office to the router. The slow wireless speeds were driving me crazy.There were no problems connecting the computer, and now my home internet connection is crazy fast. I'm very happy.

I got the cord to run from one room to another, and have been using it for several months now with no problems. The product works exactly as needed. I used some thumbtacks and velcro tape to attach it to the wall and ceiling. Avoid really sharp 90 degree angles (I am told it can damage the wire and reduce speeds), but curve around corners. It might look a little tacky tacked to the ceiling, but it works, we do not trip over it, and being white, the color matches and is not THAT noticeable I would definitely buy it again.

What more can you ask from a perfect 75ft cable..This is a very good Ethernet cable and its actually a CAT6 cable..unlike other fake sells,when they tell you a cable is CAT 6 and they ship you a CAT 5...Don't be blind to not buy this cable...BUY IT NOW!!!!!

This is sold as a cat6 cable but in my experience, it does not appear to meet the specification in terms of speed. The fastest connection I have been able to achieve with this cable is 100 Mbps, whereas the cat6 standard should allow for up to 10 Gbps connections (yes, this cable is 100 times slower than advertised!) After troubleshooting every other piece of my network, this cable is the weak link. I certainly got what I paid for with this one, a cheap cable that hasn't lived up to expectations.If you don't care about network speed or quality, or if you want to roll the dice on a shoddy product, by all means, save a buck or two and get this cable.
