Keeps him warm!
This is perfect for indoor swim lessons and will also be great for early season swim team practice this summer.

Pleased, but high neck
Great, thick neoprene. Looks durable, and I anticipate that it will help with cooler temperatures. My complaint is that the neck is high and inflexible, given how big and stiff the Velcro is. That might not be a huge issue with the perfect-fitting suit, but we’re using these for kids that are unwilling to be too snug. As a result, we’ve had to wrestle the neck down and/or try to shield their sensitive necks from 2-3 inches of Velcro. (Yikes!!)Our 2T-3T toddler is in size 2, our 4T-5T 5yo is in size 4.

Good wetsuit for the price.
My son is 4' and 45 lbs. Fits perfectly with a little room to grow. He still gets cold in an 80 degree pool for swim lessons though - not an ounce of fat! I layer it with the "Cressi 1.5mm Long Sleeve Shorty" which seems to do the trick. He's the only one that gets so cold so the one may be enough for your child. All the other kids in the pool just wear their swim suits.

Perfect wet suit for kids!
Fit perfectly to size chart. We got him a size 6 and it fits exactly as expected. Excellent material and nice 2mm suit for early water sports!

Good quality, runs small
These are great wetsuits, although we found the sizing to be inaccurate. Based on the size charts I ordered a size 2 for my 4-year-old, who is about 3'3" and 35 lbs (she would have been a size 3, but I didn't see any listings for them) and a size 4 for my 6-year-old (3'9" and 45 lbs). Turned out the size 4 fit the 4 year old, and the size 2 was a large fit on my 18-month-old, who is about 23 lbs. You can see from the photo it doesn't fit him like a proper wetsuit, but it has been great at the pool - usually he'd get cold after about 45 minutes but this keeps him going for hours. I'm sure it would be more insulating if it were a tight fit, but when I stick my finger into the leg holes, his skin feels cozy and warm in there. They're also holding up well through lots of climbing and crawling on concrete. Definitely worth the $15. BTW the collar irritated my daughter's neck at first, we fixed this by adjusting the velcro differently the next time she wore it and that solved the problem.
