This product is phenomenal for certain hair types. Personally I did not have the success (tried it twice in my hair - African American) I was looking for so my friend tried it out and BANG - BANG her hair looks and feels fabulous!! She is Mexican and has long natural curls that most people pay hundreds for at a beauty parlor. All and all she absolutely loves it and the difference is very noticable in terms of texture and look of her curls! It definitely gets 5 stars!

A favorite for use in very tight curls. We apply to wet hair that's already had some leave-in conditioner applied for ease of brushing. The curl stretch pudding helps to keep the curls from getting frizzy, and allows them to stretch out a bit more. Once dry, curls will tighten back up a bit, but leaves the overall curly look very nice, not frizzy.

I have a lot of SheaMoisture products for my natural hair and I had high hopes for this stretching pudding. Due to my hair shrinks 85%. Well, it didn't elongate my curls and still had the 85% shrinkage however it did moisturize my hair which also tends to be on the dry scale. I gave this product 4 stars because it didn't elongate or decrease any shrinkage. But it is thick with some slip, IMO it didn't detangle as much as I hoped. But the smell is odd but not overpowering and it did leave my hair with a sticky feeling all though it went on with a white film but dries without residue being visible. Handling the hair pudding is indeed thick and rubbing the pudding between your hands it does not melt so it is very very concentrated which I think makes it difficult to soak into the hair. Little goes a long way and I have thick hair. The price is OK maybe a little inflated but I tend to be frugal. Would I buy the product again? No because it didn't do as it read it would do in terms of eliminating hair shrinkage

I love this curl cream. It makes my curls (3c) look amazing and keeps them super soft. It’s not greasy or drying. Smells great too! It has been so hard to find consistently in stores around my area. The price is well below what is being charged when I do get lucky and find it, between $12 and $15 usually. I wound up buying 2 😀

This product moisturizers very well, and helps in detangling and stretching out curls. Glad I discovered it. It’s really great for kinky 4c hair, High porosity. I’m not sure about low porosity, but I imagine it would be great. I have high to regular porosity hair, but I don’t need to wet my hair in order to use this product.

This is a really thick moisturizing product. I tried it on my loose type 4 hair and I think that it's better for twist outs. My hair is definitely super soft after using it(I have to wash with a medicated shampoo that makes it starved for moisture), but this product doesn't play well with other gels and doesn't necessarily reduce shrinkage. Well, at least my hair is moisturized. The act of combing it gently through my hair removed my curls though...gels don't do this. But this one is so nice! I'm still keeping it and finding something to add to "As I am" gel.

Love this curl cream. It's so hard to find and sometimes sold out. Helps to manage frizz and flyaways, keeps curl weighted without losing volume.

Left hair soft, moisturized, and manageable. My hair is very short, but it did elongate my small curls. This product has the consistency of soft butter, so you need to work it through you hair really well. I used my fingers. The only thing I didn't like was the smell. It didn't really have a smell. The fragrance was very bland. I like a little fragrance in my hair products. Other than that I have no complaints. Also, it left my hair shiny and soft to the touch.

Me gustó que si me forma el rizo y se ve hidratado, si uso una cantidad generosa a pesar de que es denso y tengo el cabello delgado y no me baja el rizo, al contrario me lo forma mejor. Si uso poco no me funciona igual. Lo combiné con el gel dippity Do y me hizo una combinación perfecta! El olor no es especial.

Edit: made a Complaint to Amazon and they issued me a refund same day as the delivery. Disappointed to say the least. Not only was the product damaged, it had clearly been tampered with as part of the seal was missing This is one of my favourite products to use on my daughters hair and is hard to find, so paid twice the amount I normally do. Bummer.

Es muy denso, pero muy humectante y el rizo se forma muy bien. Al otro día puedes sólo refrescar con agua y el rizo se vuelve a formar. Yo lo usé con el cabello aún muy mojado y me funcionó muy bien.

Cuando lo aplico deja la sensación de quedarse tieso pero al enjuagar el cabello va adquiriendo una sensación más suave yo espero que le de brillo y suavidad a mi cabellera

La uso como crema de peinar. Es algo pesada pero te deja el cabello hermoso. Huele rico y muy rendidora
