I ordered these towels in 4 different colors along with a boatload bedding, because I suddenly had 5 extra people coming to stay. I really just needed to cover the bases so I wouldn't run out, and I tried to coordinate towels with bedding sets. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I ran them through the wash to get them nice and soft, and everything was great. I washed darks together, and the cream, which is more like a lovely butter yellow separately. Yes, there was a bunch of lint I kept clearing from the dryer, but after all was said and done, they are fine towels for the price. Oddly enough, the thickness varies from color to color, and from size to size, but none are embarrassing. The hand towels are thinner, which is okay with me for a guest situation. The thickest were the plum color, which are a lovely, rich shade of amethyst. The moss and Wedgewood are pretty too. Quite happy with this purchase.

I wanted new towels for a remodeled bathroom and my search criteria was 1st and foremost for the bath towels to be really absorbant. After that, I wanted the right color, good value (quality for the price), adequate size, and reasonable softness. I read reviews of many towels and settled on two of these Pike Street sets and am happy to say that all of my needs were met. I love the texture - another reviewer described these towels as soft and brisk/prickly at the same time and this combo works perfectly for drying off. The bath towel absorbs water immediately vs. moving it around on my body first. I ordered the cream color and was delighted to find a much richer and deeper cream than how it looked on the monitor. Other reviewers commented on size and they are right: bath, hand and wash towels are very generously sized. I have laundered the towels several times and so far, so good on both quality (no hanging threads as others have complained about) and reasonable softness. It should be noted that I do not like towels that are overly soft; I have always felt they sacrificed actual drying for softness. Finally, the price from amazon.com can't be beaten (especially with free shipping). I am so satisified, I just placed an order for a 2nd set in a coordinating color.

I read about others' comments about how much lint these towels throw off, and it is true. They do leave a lot of lint in your dryer and (during the 1st couple of washes) inside your washing machine. BUT, this diminishes over time. Considering that the price is so very low, I consider these towels pretty good quality. They are soft, and after the first two washes, I don't get lint off them when I am using them. So far (I've only owned them a few weeks now), they seem to be keeping their shape and only shrunk down from their unwashed sizes about a half-inch all around. I got cream, and it seems to have a more yellowish cast than other cream towels I have bought. But still is cream and looks pretty good to me.

OK. First the (small) gripe... Like MOST any other towels out there, brand new ones do come with the propensity to feel like they are not getting you completely dry when first used. This is because, dear friends they are treated at the factory with whatever they use to protect and enhance the dye which gives your towel its color. Even the white ones have this protectant applied to them and, over time and several wash and dry cycles they do soften up and become even more absorbent. Having said that we have used these really nice quality towels for about a year now and they have stopped shedding the fluff in the dryer like a cat with alopecia. Like nice blue jeans they have gotten better with time and are now quite comfortable and luxurious. Be patient.... It does take a bit of time to break them in the way you want them. Very good quality and nice for the price in my opinion..

These towels are thick and absorbent, for the price they are worth it. Please be aware however that they are seconds. I've purchased two sets and both have defects. One the vanilla cream ones, the thread was overrun on the washcloths which made them fray badly making it a candidate for the rag bag. Two of the large towels have stitching defects that are pretty obvious. So, they may not be for the guest bathroom, but still good towels for the price.

I stay in good to nice hotels all the time, and these towels exceed all them. They are very soft, heavy, and dry you off almost instantaneously. We have only washed them a couple times, but they have held up well and haven't bled any. I really love these towels. My wife's only complaint is that the towels aren't big enough (i.e. bath sheet size), but if the usual hotel size towel is OK for you as it is for me, then the larger ones included is not a good buy, but an excellent buy. 5/5 stars easily earned with plenty of room, and that's not even considering the extremely reasonable price. We have bought many sets of these for the whole house.

I bought a set of these towels a few months ago, I love them! The bath towels are a nice size and the thickness of the towels are as good as Martha S. They held up very well in the wash and the price you just could not beat it. At the dept store starting with an M, even on their clearance sale you would pay more for all 6 pieces than the deal you get here. And yes I am impressed especially at the texture, soft and absorbent that I order 2 more sets as gifts.This is a win,win.

These are by far the best towels I have bought for such a low price. I have paid 3x more than this for quality towels. They look really expensive. They gave a bit of weight to them so they really absorb well. All I can say is they are PERFECT. I am pretty fussy so for me to write a perfect review shows I am very happy. Shout out to the company who made these. I am planning on buying 3 more sets and just store away. For the luxury you get for a ridiculously low price I would be stupid not to.

The towels are not high end, but they aren't a high end price. They are not uncomfortable, and dry pretty well. I'm not sure how durable they are since I've only used them for 2 weeks; however, there are a few loose threads in the corners. The main issue I have is that the 'Cream' color is much more yellow than in the advertisement. It could be that the yellow light in my bathroom is contributing to the color difference, but I think it is going to look different regardless of the lighting.

These are good towels, for an excellent price! and as time passes, I like them even more. Before I ordered them, I was concerned about what the Cream colour would look like in real life ... but it's a pretty "natural linen" colour -- like cream with a slight golden tinge. Soft and absorbent.

I haven't used them yet so I can't comment on how they are for absorbency or value or how they wash but they look lovely and they are heavy quality material. The colour is true and they feel great. I am very pleased for the value. They feel like very expensive towels. I will definitely purchase more.

These seem to be a good deal to me. Towels are soft and fluffy. I noticed a faint chemical smell from out of the packaging. I believe it will go away after a few washes. Consider throwing them in the washer before first use.
