L'Occitane Ultra-Rich 25% Shea Butter Face Cream for Dry to Very Dry Skin, 1.7 oz.

First let me start by saying I used to have terrible skin and am very sensitive to breakouts with particular products. I have been to the dermatologist who prescribed a topical cream, but I still have to be considerate of the products I use. This is by far the best moisturizer I have ever used! I go back and forth between this and the 5%, depending on the weather and dryness of my skin. Typically this is my winter moisturizer, and the 5% is my summer. DOES NOT CLOG PORES! This product is NON-COMEDOGENIC which means it will not clog your pores, even tho many products market as oil-free or non-pore clogging, if it doesn't say non-comedogenic, I don't touch it anymore. I was very surprised at first that this product is so amazing, since I have always thought shea butter was very heavy and would definitely cause breakouts. I have had none whatsoever! In addition to being non-comedogenic, it goes on so smoothly, and does not feel greasy or heavy at all! I certainly recommend this to anyone, and I recommend that you just buy both this and the 5% shea moisturizer by L'Occitane. I have been using these for a little over a year now and do not trust any other moisturizers with my skin.

I’ve finally found my night cream! I’m 48 years old and have tried a gazillion creams and I’ve never found one I loved until this one. Most are just not moisturizing enough for me. I have very dry skin and like a rich cream in the evening. I actually prefer one that’s kinda greasy cause my skin just soaks it up. This cream is rich, fairly thick and just slightly greasy. Not as greasy as say Ponds, it’s way too greasy. It’s probably still too greasy for some, but perfect for me, all depends on what you prefer. If you have dry aging skin, you might love it as well! It has a light pleasant fragrance. I’ll definitely keep buying.

I have rosacea and very dry skin so it's very difficult to find products that don't irritate my skin. I was looking for a hydrating night cream to help with my rosecea. This cream is awesome! I've been using it over two months now and my skin is so soft and not as red as it normally is during the summer months. The cream is absorbed pretty quickly and despite the fact it's a thick cream it does not cause my skin to breakout (which is the problem I had with the Cetaphil cream). The cream has a light scent that does not overwhelm you and it glides over your skin smoothly. It's a little pricey but worth every penny.

I have ordered this product twice now. I have had problems in the past with ANYTHING providing enough moisture to my face to make any difference. I got onto Shea butter because I read recommendations for moisturizers from dermatologists. I live in Colorado, and am 62 years old. This product is divine! It's extremely smooth, and does a great job as my night cream. I mix it with a little hyaluronic oil and it goes on smoothly. Most of it absorbs within a few minutes. Usually I wake up with a still smooth face in the morning. I know some reviewers had issues with it being too "heavy". I can imagine that might be true--but for the price, it's unbeatable. If you live in a dry climate and your skin soaks up moisture like a sponge, try this. You won't be sorry!

I absolutely love this face cream. It’s so rich, creamy and soothing with a light pleasant scent. I used to spend so much money on high end moisturizers but this is reasonably priced and works better. Highly recommend

I have the most sensitive skin .. almost everything causes a reaction .. but not this stuff. I've thrown away so many products, it's hard to take a risk on things when they are 30-50+ a pop but I don't regret this purchase at all. It's incredibly moisturizing and lightweight. I use it heavily during the Santa Ana winds bc it is so dry out. I love this face cream and highly recommend it for daily use.

Unfortunately it didn’t work for me as a facial moisturizer - caused me to break out. But I thought I’d try it on my neck & chest and it has been terrific. May be a little expensive for that purpose but a little goes a long way, there’s no scent, and the results (for me) have been surprisingly good.

Xmass gift for my wife. Excellent product, only 4 rating due to Amazon sending a used container of cream. Kind of ruins the neato factor of the gift when about half of it was used up. Thankfully, Amazon did a very prompt job of replacing the product. This cream is on the heavy side, but its good. My wife really enjoys this cream. I would say that if used every day, it will probably last about 6-8 weeks. A little goes a long way. I even tried some and I liked it too. It really moisturizes the skin and has a mild and pleasing scent to it. 5 stars for the product, but please check the jar immediately when you receive your product and make sure its unused.
