EDIT: Have had for almost 2 years now and is in exceptional condition. I just sweep clean occasionally and spot clean when needed. Has no rips or stains. Went through 3 in a year before i decided to buy this one! I'm sure this could laat another few years. So far so good. I have had the seat cover for about 3 weeks now. I will update if anything ever changes. The 4-K-Nines seat protector works exactly as described. Two seat anchors hold the bottom portion secure to your seats. They easily pop right into the crevice in your backseat...wow. Coupled with non-slip backing that all seems to be durable with good stitching, keeps the bottom surface incredibly secure. This is the most important aspect of any seat cover so that your dog can keep his/her footing. The buckles and straps are heavy duty plastic. They are adjustable and secure to the back headrests. Also, if your choose to use the hammock feature, you can attach the other two straps to the headrests of the front seat to create a barrier between front and back. I usually dont use this feature unless I walked my dog in the rain and I dont want any chance of him climbing up front. There are side flaps that protect the side edge of your backseat. They are only about 4-5inches long but add to the overall value of this product and keep your backseat even more protected. I actually tucked the side flaps into the plastic trim of the door frame and the cover looks completely seamless. In terms of materials I am sure this thing will hold up to use over time. Keeping your dogs' nails trimmed is always a good idea and may help prolong life of this too. The nylon material is thick and waterproof, I like the fact i can just brush sand and debris right off of it and out of my car. The quilted pattern makes this seat cover very appealing and looks expensive. My only suggestion to the company would be to add slightly more padding to the bottom of the cover (it is still thicker than every cover i have seen though) to encourage dogs to settle and lay down. Sometimes i still put a bed back there on long trips. If i didnt have to, this cover would be a one step solution to making your backseat perfect for dogs. I havent used the seat belt openings, but they are velcro and can be completely shut to increase waterproofing for your back seat. The whole cover is so easy to put on and off and usually takes me about 2-3 minutes, so I take it off whenever i have passengers in the back. I would highly recommend this cover, i have gone the cheap route and have regretted it in the past. The durability of the materials, heavy duty buckles, non slip backing, seat anchors and overall functionality of this cover make it worth the money. I paid around 70 i believe. The WARRANTY also was very appealing to me and lets me know how the company stands behind their products. They havent done anything too different from their competitors, they just have perfected the details that make this a 5 STAR seat protector.

I have previously purchased custom seat covers for my car for over twice this price to keep my dog from scratching my leather seats and was not happy with them (fit or finish). For reference, I have a 75 lb boxer. This cover is great because it is heavyweight and does not slide around due to the grippy material on the back. The texture lets my dog get enough grip to not slide around during turns. The texture also helps keeps sand (I live in Florida) on the seat and not on the carpeting near the doors. Combined with custom Weathertech mats, this is a great great combo. This product gives you the option to let the front lay to the floor or buckle around the front seat headrests to create a sort of hammock. This also helps create a barrier to keep your dog in the back seat (although if my boxer is determined to get in the front seat, she is going to get in the front seat haha). Additionally, it only takes two seconds to unbuckle and fold in half and set on the floor if you need to remove for back seat passengers of the human variety. Not to mention it looks pretty good and unassuming if you just want to leave it in the car even when pets are not riding along. It is also very easy to clean. Honest review from someone with BIG DOGS who TRAVEL and SHED alot: I have used this seat cover for about 6 months now. I have an SUV and use it in the space in my trunk. The clips have worked well and I haven't noticed any damage. The waterproofing also works as well. My dogs shed a lot, and where the cover lays does protect your seats. There are slits in the middle that are velcro for seatbelts, and the hair gets through there onto the seats and into the velcro itself. I think this is a decent quality seat cover. Damage wise: After 4 months, I noticed the stitching on the cover itself start to come up in some places. After 6 months, the non-slip rubber on the backside began to shed off in the washer. I don't put it in the dryer or use heat with it either. It got really thin and worn in some places. Overall: This is a great cover for someone with smaller animals or ones that don't travel a lot. My dogs are big and are in the car almsot every day. They shed a lot and get dirty on hikes. When new, the cover worked great. It just didn't last past 6 months and I don't think it is as "heavy duty" as the company describes. I look for my covers to at least last a year if I am paying 60 or more dollars for it.

This replaced one i had before that was awful! my dog’s hair stuck to it, you couldn’t vacuum it off and even after washing it there was hair left on it, this one is sooooo different! you can actually wipe it off with a damp dish cloth and it takes most of the hair off! this one is not split for a back seat like my other and i am glad, because once the velcro gets clogged with hair, it doesn’t stay together anyway. this one is just much cleaner looking and the best part are the keepers that you shove into the seat itself between the back and bottom that keeps the whole thing really nicely in place. love this! it is waterproof and the price is what i would expect to pay for a quality product like this.

This seat cover has been great. I've had it for about 2 -3 months now. I have a new 2016 BMW330e and really wanted to protect my seats when I take my 92 lb chocolate lab to the beach. The cover is very well made. It takes about 2 minutes to put in the car, and even less to remove. I didn't think I would use the "sling" part to connect to the front seats, but I've found it quite helpful in keeping most, if not all of the sand off the floors of the rear seat compartment. It also keeps my lab from trying to climb into the front seat over the center console. When I want to remove the cover, I just unclip the straps from the headrests, fold it up into 3 parts, so no sand falls off, and remove it from my car. I give it a shake, re-fold it, and put it in my trunk. Couldn't get easier. I previously purchased a much more expensive "semi-custom" cover for my previous BMW330i from a different company. This cover is better made, doesn't get as dirty, fits at least as well if not better, and the buckles on the attachment straps are far superior to the velcro on the other cover. It's no slip backside is also a plus- not perfect, but better than not having it . While this cover is not a perfect fit, its perfectly adequate for my car. You will not be disappointed.

This is an excellent product that does exactly what it advertises. We used it on the leather seats of my VW and they stayed pristine.
