These brushes are nice and "fat," so I can really get in and blend some large areas. So far, bristles stay put and don't fall out when I'm blending.

These have a soft tip. They’re not hard at all just an FYI, if that’s what you’re looking for. They were perfect for what I needed and they’re quite sturdy..

Good Quality

I wanted to try out pastels and thought it'd be good to get a few brushes to go with them. As I've gotten more familiar with soft pastels, they've become more useful. The hairs on these brushes are incredibly loose and very easy to pull out, which has made them tough to clean. That's why the stars are on the lower end for this one. For those first starting with soft pastels, be aware these brushes can behave differently on different papers and can end up really picking up a lot of powder if there's not a lot of grit to hold the pastel. This can make them difficult for blending if you're looking to keep the base highly pigmented.
