WoodOwl02390 Feather-Type Auger Bit Re-Sharpening File

I'm a huge fan of WoodOwl products. Ever since my boss gave me my first handful of wood owl drill bits I've been hooked. Their products are top of the line in my opinion and they do their job well. Of course when I saw this file I had to have it. Let me just say that if you own owl bits, or any other auger or wormbits, you need to have this file. It sharpens bits so fast and it's made to fit against the cutting edges really well. I use mine to sharpen all my bits and they cut like new again. My only issue is that the thin part of the file has teeth there too so if you're not careful it'll start cutting into the screw tip (self feed tip) of the bit. Other than that this thing works great

I was looking for a fast-cut feather shaped file with enough cut length to handle sharpening work.Did not want the diamond "frill". This is the one, without a doubt.

works well on my pruning saws , had chips on edge and looked used when i recieved it , typical for amazon ! was not worth the hassle [f returning and not first time recieved obviously used items

Good file. Used it for non-standard saw tooth sharpening.

Probably the sharpest bit I've ever used for wood until you hit a nail then it's ruined most bits it may take a few hits on nails with before it's completely dull not this one if you're going to use it you're going to have to use it on something there's no nails if you want to keep it sharp

Cuts fast and leaves a great edge. I would def recommend this file to anyone that uses utility auger bits as it makes any resharpening job a breeze.

i needed this to sharpen my nail eater self feed bits and other self feed bits not realizing the edges are filing edges also. i needed a file with smooth edges so not to ruin my bits. had to return for a differant file.
