This worked wonders for my senior dog!
I almost never leave reviews on products but felt like this one deserved it. I have a 15 year old Pomeranian who developed a horrible cough and sounded like she was choking at night. She kept both of us up most of the night, every night. I could tell it was affecting her health and wasn’t sure if she would be ok or if I was going to have to put her down. I spoke with the vet who thought it was possibly trachea collapsing. I was desperate and gave this a try. From May to October her cough is pretty much gone and she acts like a puppy again. This stuff was a miracle for us!

Miracle drops!!
Ok, I have a pure bred Pug who will be 16 in September. She has a cough that is terrible, it's been like this probably the last 3/4 years. It's daily at this point but can turn and get more frequent then develops into a goose like honk, wet/girgly coughing, and hacking like there is something stuck in her throat. My vet is on speed dial, we have tried every medication we can! She isn't sure if it's a collapsed trachea, or enlarged heart pushing on her throat, but I'm literally there so often they know my number when I call. Last appointment she gave me a new medication and said that was the last option to try, we've tried everything over the years! Whelp, goose honking and gurgles came back. I have to give my Pug shots to mildly sedate her in order for her to calm down and give her throat time to heal. It's so bad. I have to do this for 3/4 days, she's completely out of it, drugged, and it's just awful. And I get 0 sleep! I decided to order these drops as a last ditch effort since the reviews are decent. Today is day 7 and I *think* we are finally getting somewhere. She gets 7 drops twice a day, I drop them on wet dog food and feed that right to her before giving her her bowl of food. She slept better through the night finally last night. She's breathing better during the day, no more foaming at the mouth or wetness from coughing so much, and she's able to get her cough back under control quickly. I was nervous because it wasn't a quick fix like others have said, but I think just hang tight and see if things get better. I'm going to keep this as a daily thing since I can't risk her having another honking spell...but I'm getting more hopeful with each day. Worth every penny and honestly some miracle drops!! **update - she is literally 90% better! No joke! She is sleeping through the night, you can still hear the breathing issues/struggles a little throughout the day, but no coughing!! She has even started barking again!! Wow, these are worth EVERY penny!!

Seems to work, but the smell is off putting
My 16 year old Minpin has had a cough due to reflux for some time that was worsening. After trying several things, i happened upon the Throat Gold formula. It arrived promptly and is from a trusted company that I've bought supplements from for years. After the recommended 2 weeks of twice daily use prior to assessment, his cough does seem to be less frequent and less deep when it does happen. It has not eliminated the problem, but it is better. As for the cons, the product has a strong smell and a taste my dog doesn't care for. The applicator tends to drip and the black liquid has to be cleaned up quickly. My dog has always taken his meds and supplements willingly, even eye drops, but this taste he doesn't like.

Throat Gold for Collapsed Trachea
Our 11 year old havanese has a collapsed trachea. She coughed a lot especially during tug of war. It was very sad that she could not play without coughing. I did some research and about 1.5 years ago I started giving her Throat Gold. Within two weeks her coughing fits we cut down by 75% or so. We continued to use Throat gold and the dog continued to have much less frequent coughing fits. A few weeks ago she had some pancreatic issues and we had to change her diet. We stopped giving her throat gold. Within a week she was back to coughing almost every time she played tug of war. I did some reasearch and added throat gold back to her daily routine a few days ago. Her coughing has gotten better already. Hopefully in a week or two she will be back to "normal"

Won't buy again
This is NOT working for my dog's collapsed trachea. He hasn't stopped coughing since I bought this. Not worth the price. Very disappointed!

Great for coughing to prevent sore throat
This stuff is amazing. Was told my chihuahua may have a collapsed trachea due to hacking/coughing fits, but I believe it was just allergies due to the weather change. Prescribed meds did not do the trick but once I started giving him this the coughing stopped. I purchased this product because it contains mullein which is a great herb for respiratory problems.

Absolutely Gold
My dog had a really bad cough in which I did take him to the vet. Vet gave medicine so I ask the vet if my dog could take Throat Gold. Vet approved and I feel my dog really improved quicker taking Throat Gold. Once he started taking Throat Gold I saw definite improvement in his cough. It's worth the price in gold.

Works but dog doesn’t like smell
This worked wonders for my 15 year old chihuahua who struggled with a cough when the air got dry in winter. Started working after a couple days. She doesn’t like the smell though so we have to mask it with bone broth or dog safe flavoring/seasoning additives.
