Spectrum Diversified Ashley Towel Ring, Over the Cabinet Door, Satin Nickel

I measured my cabinet before ordering. Mine is 3/4 inch. When I received it, I was surprised to see that it tapered from the top so that the bottom of the clip was only 1/2 inch. Initially, I was unable to fit it over my cabinet because I was afraid of scratching the cabinet. I tried again later and was able to get it on. I have been using it since. It is a tight fit on my cabinet. I guess I don’t have to worry about it sliding or falling off that way. There is nothing aesthetically special about it, but it’s not ugly either. It does what I wanted. I no longer have to walk around my kitchen island to dry my hands.

I want to love this towel holder because it was going to solve many problems in my kitchen of having towels laying around or falling on the floor. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit on my cabinets or drawers so I have not been using it. My cabinets are not completely square, but have a bit of a rounded edge on the top and the attachment does not fit on them properly. I think I can probably anchor it on with some kind of adhesive or possibly screw it on, but I don't want to damage my cupboards. The few times I did try to use it it fell on my kiddos toes and she was NOT very happy with my cool new kitchen gadget!! ;) Another product I thought would be a great idea that now just sits in a drawer in my utility room...

I purchased this towel ring to hang a dish towel where it was convenient to use as it is something I find myself reaching for frequently during cooking and clean up. While it fits securely over the cabinet door, the ring pivots on a metal bar that has nothing on the end to keep it from slipping out each time you remove the towel. Do not waste your money on this item. It has ended up to be a nuisance. I am very disappointed and wish I had returned it immediately.

This looks OK from a distance but the ring is pretty thin. It is flat on the back. My big problem with this is that it won't fit on the cabinet doors where I was going to use it. You need to have a door, that is pretty square and preferably closes on the outside of the cabinet. My doors have an outer layer that is larger than the opening and an inner layer that fits into the opening so that when I hang this over it the door won't close. I haven't been able to find anywhere else in the house where it would fit either. It would be a pretty decent towel ring if you have the right kind of cabinet door.

Love this - Very useful -- has a little felt padding under the part that hangs over the door. Figs snug - the towel keeps the metal ring pushed slightly away from the door so it doesn't scratch. I've ordered this type of thing before but they always prevent the door from closing tightly. This one is different - door closes fully. Love it ! Very nice. LIke it so much I ordered a second.

Great solution for a bathroom with no where to put a hand towel ring on the wall. My sink is on the shower side of the bathroom so no wall just shower glass. I needed somewhere to hang a towel and was not interested in a standing towel holder on the counter. This ring works great for my needs and matches my bathroom and cabinets. The only thing you need to be careful of is when you pull the towel out, the ring will hit the cabinet.

Wish they had more shades in different metals. It’s fine for what it’s job is to do, hold towels.

Ended up returning this product. I purchased 3 of these for our new home because they matched the bathroom hardware and we didn't have towel racks or rings low enough for the kids to reach. One of them wouldn't stay on the drawer in the kids bath because the drawer was very narrow. One I tried to use in the kitchen ended up scratching my cabinet because it was thicker. Just went back to hanging the towel on the drawers directly.
