I was reluctant to get this grater at the time I bought because I thought it might bend while grating cheese. This little device is made of high-gauge metal and well put together! Its handle is easy to hold onto and it has little rubber bumpers on the the handle to keep your hand from sliding up the handle to the grater. It is sharp and cheese goes through it like knife through butter. I highly recommend it, and for this price, you can't beat it.

I have a box grater but this is so much easier to use. It's lightweight and sharp making it the one I reach for when I need to grate something by hand such as cheese or citrus rind for a recipe.

Have had a hard time finding a quality flat grater on the internet, and ones in stores are far too overpriced. This one gets the job done for this particular amount of fineness/coarseness. It doesn't feel SUPER solid as if it were made of solid high quality metals. It feels a little bit lightweight. It fits comfortably in my hand. Not perfect but there are far worse products out there.

The holes are very tiny - something I did not think about when buying. With that said, it's good for grating cheese or maybe some carrots for a salad. I tried grating a potato with this to make hash browns, but it grates them too fine. Other than all that, does the job great and feels very sturdy.

I wanted a grater that would be easy to grate cheese on top of a plate of food or in a pan without getting it everywhere. This is lightweight, sturdy, and as a bonus it is far easier to clean than the folding/standing grater I had. All pros, no cons.

I like that it is small and fits nicely in the silverware drawer. It is not as sturdy as I would like or what I was expecting. Also, I would not call it a medium grate--it is a fine grate.

Very nice. I keep in refrigerator with a block of Parmesan cheese and grate a little at a time. Works great.

I have used it for block cheese so far and it works well and cleans well, too.

I find it much easier to use this than the box grater. Glad I bought it.

Wanted to replace my old grater and this one is much smaller than a medium. Hopefully I can return it as I already have a zester.
