Weber 63028 Temperature Gauge for Some Smokey Mountain Cookers

Temperature gage met all requirements as advertised.

On Labor Day, I broke out the Smokey Mountain and Brinkman smokers and spent the better part of the day barbecuing. It was an absolute blast but I noticed that the temperature gauge on the Smokey Mountain cooker was shattered and inoperable. So, I went out to the Amazon website and found the replacement parts section for my smoker and ordered the replacement gauge. It arrived within a few days and was exactly the right replacement part for my smoker. It only took a few minutes to remove the broken gauge and install the new one and I'm looking forward to doing some additional smoking this fall, if the weather permits. Otherwise, everything will be ready for the next time I barbecue in the spring.

Over time, the lid thermometer of my Weber smoker began to fail. This was evident in quicker cook times and ultimately quality. This replacement was a perfect fit, arrived quickly, and appears accurate. Looking forward to putting it to use with my next brisket.

OEM quality product.

I bought this to add a thermometer on my older 18” WSM that didn’t come with one. I bought this thermometer along with a Weber 821001 bezel on amazon. Following the instructions on the WSM Bullet website I cut the indexing tab off of the bezel so I didn’t have to drill an indexing hole in my lid. I only drilled the main hole and installed the thermometer and bezel in the proper orientation. Looks like it came from the factory and sure beats the thermometer in a cork in the vent holes that I have been using forever.
