It's fun to read A++
I really enjoy reading this book! I find Math Art to be a fascinatingly powerful journey into mathematics. The book speaks to my analytical mind and helps me explore new ways to see and visualize concepts. I appreciate the author's use of pictures inside the book and it's written in a way that is easy for me to understand. I highly recommend this book!

A truly phenomenal book
If you have any interest at all in the beauty of mathematics then this is a must have. Not only are the illustrations amazing and right on point but the descriptions are clear and thought provoking, (without all those tedious numbers and equations). I will admit my higher math skills are just slightly above abysmal but the author makes the concepts clear and easy to understand, and puts an interesting and often humorous twist on them. For example the chapter on the Mandelbrot set opens with a sub header; “Bugs, seahorses, and elephants, all the way down.” (Playing on the old physics joke.) Then the concepts are explained in a clear and understandable way. From Euclid to the Traveling Salesman Problem and on to the infinite, with some quite surprising relationships along the way. A great read I couldn’t put down.

Great gift for a math and art lover.
I bought this for someone who has asbergers to cheer him up because his grandma died and he doesn't know how to express his hurt. He was absolutely thrilled and spent lots of time reading this. It's one of his favorite books in his collection. He liked it much more than a sympathy card or flowers. I have no idea what half the stuff is in this book but he was very familiar with a lot of the content and he found the work in this book exciting.

Shows the sublime beauty of math
When I was in college studying engineering, I often thought "wow...there's a wonderful underpinning of the universe here in math." Certain constants (pi, e, 137) just seemed to show up everywhere. After graduating from college, getting a job, raising a family and the like, these ideas took a back seat to day to day pressures. After reading this book, I was reminded of the beauty of math again. As an engineer I would have loved to have this book dig deeper into the math details, but I acknowledge that presenting these ideas at a higher level makes the book more approachable and is a fine tradeoff. Highly recommended. And check out the links in the book. They make some of the math really come alive.

High Quality! Stunning Pictures!
I'm not a math geek by any means, but the math/computer whiz for whom I bought this book said she really liked it. I probably didn't fully appreciate the book myself, but the pictures were quite engaging, and it seemed to be coffee table book.
