Somewhat Effective
Living in the tropics. This deet free organic repellant works 70% better than the water based repellants. It was well secured and packaged safely. It caused no unusual reaction to my now 21months old skin but few bites are noticed. It is hard to spread but last longer. Does not remove existing bite marks though. I would recommend

Kind of works
I took this on a summer camping trip to Colorado. There were a ton of mosquitoes and black flies. This certainly helped to repel the black flies but not so much the mosquitos! Everyone who tried the product was still getting bitten. The product itself is a little oily, so you have to spray and then spread. The scent is wonderful!

Keeps bugs off
I used this originally for my toddler but the whole family uses now. It’s gentle, smell is not overpowering and keeps bugs off. Safer than using deet.

Not what I was looking for
I would prefer a mosquito repellent that is lotion. If I’m going to spray on my hand and rub it on my skin, why make it a spray? It would be better to make a lotion and add sunscreen protection.

Smells great, works well for a DEET alternative repellent.
First off, it’s really oily, and re-pumps will get the bottle a little slippery. It works well as a spot repellent, meaning the very spot on your skin you smear it on likely the mosquitos won’t land there, but if you missed a spot of exposed skin, then it’s fair game. I feel like that’s the difference with DEET, where the chemical also acts as a proximity repellent. Because we don’t want our young ones exposed to that stuff, this is a decent alternative. I’m a little uncertain about the sting if we get the oil in the child’s eyes though, so I try to apply on the cheeks and forehead. That being said, the little one sometimes has bites on the eyelid - spot repellent.

Strong scent and very oily film on skin
I do love the smell of rosemary but the smell of this product is very, very strong! It also leaves quite an oily film on the skin which gets transferred to whatever is being touched afterwards (my couch got a bunch of stains from my toddler). The good thing is it keeps all the insects away so it works great and as promised!

Seems to help but
Is a little greasy imo. Not the end of the world bc we always give baby a bath at the end of the day if we use this.

Bug free in TX
I have been bitten by mosquitos, flies and fire ants frequently. I was gifted this bug repellent and decided to take it with me on my trip to TX. I walked the trails at dawn, mowed grass known to have fire ants and did other gardening chores daily during a two + month stay from May to July. I did not get bitten or stung once. The family I stayed with did get bitten though; they did not use this repellent. I was so impressed that I ordered more bottles to leave with my host family. I came home to CA and resumed my outdoor activities and was promptly stung and bitten by mosquitos, flies and an ant. Again I ordered more product and am happy to report I am again bug free. I also like the scent. The only down side was this last order leaked; the bottles leaked because the caps were not screwed on tight. I saved the very aromatic boxes and placed them outside next to the exits to keep the flies and mosquitos away from the doorways. This product itself is wonderful; I highly recommend it.
