Older & Much Wiser Workout for Active Older Adults
I am 55 years old & I have a history of lumbar sprain & rotator cuff injuries, & quite frankly I question the safety of the entire workout video. I greatly injoyed the Older & Wiser video that I recently purchased which had detailed instructions on how to do the aerobic section. Whereas in this video, she hurredly gives instructions & then she turns at an angle so I cannot see the exact angle of her arms & proper foot placement. In one cardio segment, there is a lot of twisting. They do imitations of golf swings in a sport that she has never played. There is the twist, the Charleston, & the hoola hoop. In fact, she states that she has never attempted any of the sports in which she is demonstrating movements. I have had a back injury while twisting in the past & I just do not think that I can do this segment. True, there are 3 different levels demonstrated for the viewer to follow, but I am still afraid to follow the easiest level. There is a lot of overhead reaching & balance required which I am not up to unless I balance with a chair. The DVD does say that this is gentle exercise for beginners who have been inactive, but I do not believe it. I will not be buying anymore of her DVDs. I much prefer Angie Miller's Absolute Beginners Cardio & Strength Training Workout for Seniors which is done at this level & is safe for me.

Really feel the results toward a healthier senior
Sue Grant comes with excellent credentials for balance and mobility. I have used her DVDs Older & Wiser Workout for a couple of months along with 2 others and mix that now with this Older &Much Wiser dvd. I was having difficulty in getting out of my kayak and now I get right out. it's much easier for me to pick up things off the floor, etc. My suggestion for using this second dvd is concentrate on the movements, get to know them then add your arm movements. Once you have them down its smooth sailing. I do like that it really uses all the muscles in your body that you need for balance, mobility and stability. You can do parts of these DVDs or like me I do the full program whenever I use either DVD. I feel that these excercises have helped make me a healthier 76 year old.

three different cardio sessions (I like the one that imitates sports moves)
This is THE workout DVD that I have been looking for. I am 60 and have had both knees replaced. I tried to live with the arthritis for a long time, so my whole body is out of balance. This is the right video for you or two other versions of you (harder, medium, slow. It offers much more than a cardio workout. It has a warm up, three different cardio sessions (I like the one that imitates sports moves), a strength, a balance, and a stretching, plus a cardio cool down. I mix and match everyday. I am already seeing more coordination and strength building. The strength segment requires a band. I highly recommend this video.

All inclusive DVD for 60+ crowd.
Appropriate for 60+ crowd. Outdated set and music. However, good moves that incorporate range of motion during cardio sessions. Sue and her "backup babes" are obviously having a good time. Each section amount 10 minutes. I did warmup, Cardio 1, Cardio cool down and stretch for 40 min workout. A nice easy pace with no complicated moves. Also, includes strength training section with band and balance workout. Overall, has it all for those just beginning or if you want a slower paced workout that day.

Good Workout!
I do like this work out. It's a bit more intense than the first one Older and Wiser, but I like that it is. Older and Wiser is better for beginners and then go to this one. I could do without the 'Sports cardio segment"; not my favorite but I do it. All in all its worth the time and money well spent.

Generally good, except for the voice
I bought this DVD because I wanted to add some more variety to my collection. I like it, because they offer quite a few options: strength, aerobic, balance, etc., so you can customize your workout each time. The exercises work quite a few muscles and there are always different options in terms of levels of difficulty. You get great bang for your buck here. The leader (Sue?)'s voice is grating, as is some of her commentary. After you do the DVD a few times, you wont' even hear it, but the first time it was a surprise. Power through--it's worth the effort.

One Of Several Sue Grant Videos I Use
Whenever possible I attend group instructional classes as I enjoy the camaraderie and mutual motivation of a group setting. However, if I cannot be with a group and must exercise by myself it is Sue Grant's videos that I find myself turning to and actually doing. Because I have a few of her videos and now have some experience with them I select this particular one on days I want to especially strengthen my balance skills and for the eye exercises which I judge to be of tremendous value but are rarely part of physical fitness and health videos. I find the choice of exercises and movements practical for my age, an active sixty seven, and I am relaxed and encouraged by Ms Grant's professional and considerate coaching.

Enjoyable and effective workout
I love this workout! Lot's of arm movements are helping me keep the ligaments and muscles stretched while recovering from a broken wrist but they don't irritate my shoulders like some workouts do. Sue Grant is unlike other fitness coaches. She gives you advance warning of the next moves to come so you can keep time with ease. Short sessions let you work as hard as you want. Even with just a warm-up and one cardio session I find some toning effects and improved posture. Being geared for seniors, there are plenty of wrist, finger and ankle stretches worked right into the routine that I appreciate.

This is awesome for someone who's almost 80
My mom has been using this video for about a month. We can already see a difference in her agility and she is feeling less stiff. This is awesome for someone who's almost 80! As well my mom enjoys doing the workout.

Very helpful
The DVD is very helpful and easy to follow. You can go at your own pace and there are enough sequences to keep it from being boring.
