Good for homeschooling

each historical event is written on only page, so it reads fast and easily. there is enough information to get the point of the event, but for the inquisitive mind it does give details that need to be further researched in order to understand its significance.

Excellent product to cover the high-lighted portions of history. We purchased the entire collection and usining with our two kids homeschool US History program. Will want to buy an actual history textbook to fill in the gaps so that the information between the workbook pages flows without too many gaps. Do like the questions and writing assignments.

My daughter and I found this book to be very well done. The written assignments were thought provoking and worth the time spent. Each assignment was well written and required a variety of work from the student, keeping it interesting. Most assignments took approx. 30 min. To complete. We supplemented this work book with several novels as well as Ken Burns Civil war documentary. Strongly recommend this course and we are diving into the next in the series next!

This workbook is well written with thoughtful questions. The chapters are not too long and they are easy to grade. My student learned a lot from this workbook.
