Bath and Kitchen Sink Soap Dispenser, Contemporary Premium Modern in Chrome, 04539000 Small

I bought some cheap soap dispensers from the local big box hardware stores and have had to replace them every couple of years. My brother has had his for over 6 years without any issues so now that my fourth cheap one broke, I decided to order this one and hope it lasts as long as my brother's. Installation was easier than the cheap ones because the plastic "nut" is very large and therefore easy to grasp and turn. Hand tightening it was enough which is great because it's difficult to work in that narrow area under and behind the sink. If I have any issues, I'll update this review but I don't anticipate any.

Hole was already in the sink. With the Hansgrohe faucet/sprayer combination it was the opportune time to install a soap dispenser. Many available on the market. This one matches the satin finish of the faucet. It installed in less than five minutes. The plastic bottle holds about half a bottle of liquid soap. You have to be careful not to allow the soap level get too high. I did. Cleaned up the spillover soap and tested the pump. It works fine. Pricing was fair. Unit quality is high. Good value.

We bought a $20 soap dispenser from Home Depot that looked good, but it was too hard to press. Tried it for two weeks. It took your whole hand to press and dispense soap. Couldn't stand it, so we bought this one. In one hand, you can hold the dish cloth and pump soap with your thumb or finger very easily. And I was a bit worried about the slope of the nozzle, thinking that it would cause soap to run down the nozzle and to the pump. Hasn't happened yet. And it looks great. Much higher quality than the one we got from HD. Very pleased. Highly recommended.

First purchased this along with a Hansgrohe Fauset in March of 2019 as part of a kitchen remodel. Both items were well matched in color and looked amazing against the black granite. a few months ago I started having problems with the dispenser not releasing enough soap. I noticed it had rusted out at the ejection point. As noted in another post, this item is a bit short and may leave some soap on your counter. The slanted spout is attractive but increases the chance of soap residue. Unfortunately I was just outside the manufacturers guideline for a replacement. A great looking piece. Too bad.

I bought this soap dispenser to go with my Hansgrohe faucet with the hope that it would be short enough to clear the handle on the faucet. It does, but it's close. This is not the fault of the soap dispenser or faucet. I replaced a faucet/dispenser installed by the builder of my house and the holes for those were already cut out of my granite counter tops, so I had no options other than to either keep my original inferior faucet OR to change it out to the wonderful Hansgrohe faucet I purchased. It's a little tight in clearance, but worth it. The faucet is far superior and the soap dispenser works just fine. And matches the faucet. So I'm happy.

I LOVE HANSGROHE PRODUCTS. THIS DISPENSER IS NO DIFFERENT, LOOKS NICE, EASY TO INSTALL AND WORKS GREAT. THE PUMP STAYS PRIMED SO ALL YOU NEED IS A SINGLE PUSH TO DISPENSE THE AMOUNT OF LIQUID SOAP YOU NEED.

Works well

This is a FANTASTIC concept - no more little bottles cluttering up the sink! Not commonly known in Australia but I am spreading the word. Very easy to fill from the top and you can get the big bottles and long tube that sit on the floor of cabinet if desired. However, the bottle it comes with takes a huge amount of detergent. I just use a very mild, eco liquid that is good for hands and dishes. Very good quality (Hansgrohe generally is) and the pump action works perfectly 2 years on.

Great capacity to minimise refilling, functions well.

Large container so you don't have to fill it very often. Looks great.
