Wouldn’t hold the stockings
I bought these for my stockings for Christmas . Originally when you search for stocking hooks it came up with these . Now the name has changed to “purse holders” .These wouldn’t hold the stockings on my fireplace - despite the weight it claim to hold It didn’t hold it . I don’t think they will hold purses either. don’t waste your money !

Good value Christmas Stocking Hilders
Christmas stockings to hang on the fireplace. Initially thought they might be too light but they fit perfectly on my mantlepiece and hold the stockings firmly in place even when gifts are put inside. They look good too.
