ORIA Combination Lock, Yellow, Resettable, 4 Digit Code, Zinc Alloy, Lightweight, Weatherproof, Rustproof

Very good lock, heavy duty and easy to set the combination. I keep this outdoors and have not had any issues with weather and it is heavy and well built. I have purchased other locks that do not compare well to the quality of this lock. I value reviews written truthfully by people that purchase any product. I always review comments before I purchase any item as do the majority of people buying a product. I hope you value my opinion and review. How I rank products: * 1 star (I hate it!): I would either return it or throw it away. It was a waste of my money and time. UPDATED July 28, 2017: Ada contacted me about the locks after reading my review and we resolved the issue. Turns out there is a way to completely lock yourself out of the lock when you don't turn it the right way although in my case, the lock wouldn't turn much further after pushing it down. Ada sent me a new set of locks along with pictures and directions on how to reset the combination which worked out perfectly. I have attached the pictures if anyone needs help with resetting it like I did. Thank you so much Oria and Ada. Your customer service is amazing!ORIGINAL July 21, 2017 | I received both locks and they seemed sturdy, both opening with the "0000" combo. I tried to reset one of the locks and to do so, you have to open the shackle and turn it until it fits into a smaller slot to set your new combination. When I have the shackle pressed down and turn it, one of the numbers on the locks turns with the shackle. When I finally got it to stay in the small slot, I set the new combo, then released it so I could test it out....only to find that the new combo didn't take and "0000" doesn't work either. So now I have one lock that doesn't open to any of the combos I can think of. I even googled how to hack into a lock... it definitely doesn't feel easy to set a new combination. I'm not sure if this one is faulty or I had a hard time with the directions but now I have a lock that doesn't shut.I'm leaving one star because the other lock can still provide some protection (if at all) with the 0000 combination... the lock works, but changing the combination has been an awful experience

While not totally corrosion-proof, but it offers adequate protection with outdoor use. I use it to lock my power sub-panel outside and under rain and outdoor elements it started to rust, but not to a point that it freezes with corrosion. A little WD-40 took care of it. Considering the price and ease of setting the combination I would recommend these for practicality.

I like that I can easily set both locks to the same combination. They look nice. Tumblers slide easily. It's not going to stop a determined thief and they don't fit the lock holes for older 1990's luggage, but they work as a deterrent for what I want.

Solid construction, easy to set up and use. Good for lockers. Somewhat noticeable clicks/resistance when turning the dials, takes some trial and error but easy to break into. In addition I was able to open the lock with the code 7912 when the real code was 7986, though it could not be closed again (or have the combination changed) while on that wrong code.

The lock itself is fine. The problem was only one lock worked. Setting the code was easy on the first lock, Then on the second one, after setting the code and locking it, it would not open, and there is no way to reset it. So I'll keep the ne that works and tossed the other one.Update - The Companies customer service rep, went over the top on working with me on the problem.. I think it was my fault I screwed up, but they still sent me 2 new locks no charge, even after I told then I was the one who messed up setting the code and didn't think they needed to send new ones.. They even checked to see that I was happy with the new locks. They care about there product, and their customers.

Extremely frusterated. I have spent over 20 minutes with instructions and video from amazon with my locks and now my fingers hurt and neither lock works. One lick I was able to set the code, but when switching the top part back to original position, it turned the wheel of numbers with it and now it’s locked and I’ve tried a million different combinations and can’t get it unlocked.The second lock I couldn’t get to turn 90 degrees because the pin was almost too high and wouldn’t clear the base. After about five minutes or so of trying and Ted hands and fingers I got it to budge but it looks like it wore some of the metal from pressing against it. The same thing happened after setting the lock code again, even though I was super aware this time and tried to hold on super tight to the numbers as I rotated the top part back, the numbers kept wanting to twist. I was able to set my code. But now the top part won’t lock. Super frustterated. Would like to return but also can’t find any return information. Don’t waste your time or money on this product. I never leave reviews but had to for this.

Easy to use and reset code. They do their job.

I don't even know how it's possible but the combinations keep changing! i set one to 6499 then the next time i tried to ipen it only 6299 would open it. a few days later not it ipens with 5499 WTF!? must have very loose wells.
