Bought for a beginner player, no clue what negative reviews are on about, tuner is functional and pretty accurate! one complaint is that it's a bit of a stubborn tune but after about a week stays in tune fine. its design is unique and super cute but makes no sacrifice of function. perfect price range (purchased via az marketplace) for if you're just trying out the instrument but i could see it holding up longterm

I had bought two, one for me and one for my grandmother who has been playing for over 50 years and there was no built in tuner or even a separate tuner in the box. The sound on mine is fantastic but the turning machines on my grandmothers was so hard that she couldnt turn it until my father came home, I couldn't turn them because they were so tough. My grandmother and I both have blisters from trying to tune her Ukulele, it should not be that hard. I am disappointed that it was advertised with a tuner also.

Great beginner guitar. Sounds good. Solid construction. Tuner works well.
