Tommy Hilfiger Lochwood Hardside Spinner Luggage, Burgundy

I have used the bag a total of 4 time and its totally unusable now. The first time I used it, there was a huge dent on the side and then the clips inside the suitcase came off, finally on my 4th use the zipper broke and my stuff exploded. Please do not buy this, it an absolute waste of money

My son really wanted this Tommy H bag as we sent him off to College. So far its held up pretty well, the plastic shell is fairly durable and the zippers are handling the stuffed bag after 6 months of travel back and forth. The name plate is now off center after getting banged around a few times, and the handle is sticky when you first extend it, but generally it works pretty good and seems as durable as more expensive luggage I've purchased in the past.

I travel a lot, and this is the most durable large suitcase I've owned. Granted, I've never bought a hard-shell before, so I don't know how it compares to others in that category, but I've had it over 3 years now with no damage. That's longer than any nylon luggage has lasted for me, including Victoronix (broken handles and missing zipper toggles within one year). This is also very light luggage, which comes in handy with airline weight limits. The retracting handle assembly doesn't take up much space on the inside of the case. There are no separate enclosed compartments inside - just two halves of a large suitcase - one side with a zipped netting cover, and the other side just as elastic straps. The wheel action is smooth and the plastic wheel assemblies are very durable. It moves great on all 4 wheels (no need to tip it and drag it on two wheels). I also have the next smaller size version of this suitcase, which looks nice ion blue, but I haven't really ever had a need to use it yet.

I was a little nervous to purchase after reading the reviews on here but this luggage is great. I travel often and this case has already held up through 2 trips to Europe this year. You'll get tons of compliments and and the cases are easy to spot on the luggage carousel! I bought the carry on too - must have. Highly recommend.

I was worried about the color of this piece. It is actually a great color! I have used it a couple times now. Of course it was scratched the first time I used it! Airports! However, it's not very noticeable. It is easy to find at baggage claim. This piece holds tons of stuff and is still easy to push or pull as the swivel wheels are awesome. You do have to line it up just right to zip it but it's really not a hassle. The inside lining is a beautiful blue color. I have not tried to use it as a carry on yet. I'm eager to see if I can. I really Love this piece!

Color looks pretty much like shown on pic except it shimmers a little into purple ( not by much). Picture i attach was taken at night so the color doesn't show as good. I tested it out right away. We went on a 4 day trip to San diego so i had to pack for me, my 2 children and my Husband. I had quiet a good load ( i mean everyone had 4 shirts, 1 long sleeve shirt, underwear and socks for 4 days, bathing suit and shorts and one set of long pants each. Will attach pics.Everything fit except the Jackets. So it does hold a very good amount. I cant say anything about the wheels since we carried it. These how ever will be tested out next Month to our trip to Germany. So far i am very satisfied with this suitcase.Update: We took both suitcases to our 7 week trip to Europe and put it to the test. We checked these bags as full as they could get and they got through it without issues or popping open. We also walked a lot with this suitcase and the wheels did a great Job. After the trip the suitcase is a bit scratched up but everything else works still great. I also like these because no one else had them and they were very easy to spot on the baggage claim.

Didn't survive the 2nd trip to Asia. I packed 35kg in it this trip when I usually pack about 20 in it because I was to be away a few weeks. This was obviously too much weight for this luggage to handle. Had to throw it away in Cambodia.

Love this luggage. Very durable and good looking. People are always looking at it when I travel. I use it for carry on. I just bought the same style but 28" so it matches my carry on, although I already have a 25" and a 28" TH but a different style.
