Skechers Performance Women's Go Walk 2 Super Breathe Walking Shoe

I agree with Chynna's review. I bought these because a pair I own are so absolutely comfortable, but can get rather warm after a while. Initially, I felt like I was walking on clouds and my feet were cooler as advertised, then after a couple of hours, the netting started to feel scratchy and my toenails started to get caught in the netting. Fortunately, the sneaker was wide enough so these issues weren't as bad as they could have been, but I'll be sure not to wear these for an all day walking activity. Too bad, since they are otherwise the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn.I knew before I bought them that they ran about a half size small - I wear a 7 1/2 - and that they ran a bit wide, which I appreciated because they do tend to get warm which causes my feet swell, so they didn't feel so pinched.Update: After a few wearings, the netting softened up, thank goodness! It is no longer scratchy and my toenails no longer get caught in the netting. In addition, my feet are cooler. I guess they needed a short breaking in period. For me, they are most definitely a 5 star sneaker, cool and comfortable. They make walking a pleasure!

I have three pairs of the go walk 2's and I love the comfort. This pair is my least favorite. I ordered them because in the regular style my feet get warm when we're on our walks. While the mesh is more breathable it has some definite downsides. For one it's pretty stiff and starchy, I thought it would be more like cotton or lycra. Also, when you're walking your toenails, even if trimmed, catch in the mesh holes near the toes and is somewhat painful. I also got blisters from the mesh rubbing on the side and tops of my feet. I would say they're nice to wear but not for anything over a mile.

These are great shoes. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe which is what I ordered (in blue). They fit fine. As to the stiffness of the mesh top and getting your toenails caught mentioned in other reviews, I also ordered "No show socks for women by Jays". The socks deal with both issues and are invisible even under the mesh. I wore them for a few 2 mile walks. One route is the one I use to walk the dogs and I'm on dirt, rock and uneven paths. They were very comfortable and didn't slip. I also wore them for the walk around work, which is mostly sidewalks and asphalt roads. Again, very comfortable on all surfaces. I wouldn't wear them for hard core hiking but then, they aren't meant for that. Will be buying myself another pain in a different color once that color is available again in my size. They look good with long pants, capris and shorts.

I love the cushion of the Sketchers Go Walk - and wear a pair almost every day!! They fit well (althought I usually order a half size larger than I would typically wear), cushion is to die for and the style/design is functional, as well as, cute as a button!!

LOVE THEMDid I mention LOVE??I live in HOT and Humid weather. I HATE real shoes, I'd rather be in flip flops 24/7 however I haven't found any that are comfy to walk in. I was hoping the mesh would keep my feet cool as well as be comfy.They were. The first time I put them on to walk they were kind of stiff. I wore them a few more times (to the grocery store, movies and out shopping) after that, the next walk was MUCH easier. The shoes were softer. I wear ballerina style socks with them but I'm sure you can wear them barefoot as well. The only complaint I had was that I had weird tan lines.In all fairness to the shoes, it's not their fault. So I didn't take away any stars.Fits as expected, softened up, comfortable, breathable and cute.

Unfortunately for me, I have a problem with my feet getting too hot in closed toe shoes.These nearly solve the problem.I find them to be very comfortable and airy but after a couple hours of wear, my feet still get hot.If there was some sort of ventilation coming from the sole of the shoe, they'd be perfect (except for rainy days).I didn't find the fabric to be scratchy nor did I have issues with my nails getting caught in the mesh as mentioned by other reviewers.I usually wear between a size 8 (regular shoes) and 8.5 (athletic shoes) and ordered these in an 8. They fit perfectly.I plan to get more pairs in other colors.

These are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever found. I would say that I have a large foot (size 10 women's) and typically need a wide base and flexible upper. These shoes fit me so well (in a 10 regular) and are flexible, but supportive. The do not have a high arch, but the cushion does give a nice amount of support. The bottom of the shoe has good traction and support as well. And the mesh keeps my feet cool in hot weather - I just wear a no-show sock like Peds. But they are also comfortable with a full sock in cooler weather or could be worn barefoot. I was concerned that the mesh might be scratchy, but it's actually very comfortable.I purchased these in the pink color last year and loved them so much that I have been waiting for my size to be available in another color. When the black finally became available, I purchased them right away. The fit is the same for both colors - perfect.Two more notes:1. My physical therapist was very happy with this shoe for my walking therapy for knee and ankle pain.and2. I wore these for walking all around WDW & Universal Studios in FL last July - no blisters and cool feet!
